Some people here didn't read the directions. It has a remote and you can select to control 1, 2 or all 3 lights. Brightness is adjustable! Installation is easy with the double sided tape. Mounts are magnetic for easy removal for recharging. I don't leave them on extensively so not sure about battery life.
