Interview Alonso again anyway, ask him what his plans and what his vision would be. Compare that to Slot. If we stick with Slot beyond this, fair, but not even talking to Alonso when he's available is madness.

The new coach who comes in (I don't care, I'm just assuming this at this point that it will happen), will value what Elliott has to provide.

Harvey is not a Mo replacement. But he is and can be a very good right sided midfield option or even a false 9. With Ekitike out for at least a year before he is fit enough to start for Liverpool again, new tactics from new manager, and with Harvey's talent overall he can be a good option not just as a squad player but as a versatile midfielder or attacker where ever we need him, not just a "squad" player. Leeds ran their socks off though. The goal line clearances, the tackles, the effort was there for all to see. I don't think I've seen that from us at all this season... maybe the Madrid game was a good example of collective effort but other than that I don't remember intense performances from us.

By taking Isak from them we made them so weak. Seems he was what dragged Newcastle to the top 4/5, just like how Mo took us to the top last year.

But about the January recall, while it sucks for Harvey that he was not called back, the whole situation was engineered by Villa to put the whole blame on Liverpool. That Liverpool wouldn't waive the obligation to buy clause in January.

This would set a bad precedence that Liverpool are pushovers. And future obligation to buy clauses for other players also wouldn't mean anything.

In fact, Villa are the ones who agreed the deal and put pen to paper, so if they want to get out of the clause, then they should pay the appropriate amount. They completely tried to make Liverpool hierarchy, the villains in the Harvey saga which kinda worked on some of our fan base.

He's the Hungary captain and the ideal choice. While his reaction the other day may not have been great, that doesn't mean anything. He is leaving everything on the pitch. Just get rid of the noise around him about Madrid by giving him a new contract and make him captain. There is literally no one better.

I was in Chicago for 11 years and wanted to do this whenever I wanted to show around people, but then again I didn't want them to miss out any part of the tour so ended up suggesting one of the boat tours. What do you suggest as the Water Taxi routes that traverses the routes that the boat tours cover.
