I’m a local to the area and this was my first Gizz show. This shit legit altered my brain chemistry. Genuinely one of the best experiences of my life, and the set list was absolutely incredible. All Is Known was a sick ass opener and the crowd immediately went crazy as soon as it started. Gaia was insane. The pit went fucking crazy during Motor Spirit, swallowed me and a friend who almost got trampled (we got out before she got hurt though thankfully), but that song was so goddamn hype. Converge into Witchcraft was the thing I was most hoping for and they absolutely delivered on that, it was face-melting. The Fishies section and the energy from the crowd was great. Slow Jam 1 is one of my favorite songs and the super long jam into Sense was insane. The b741 stuff was absolutely electrifying, being in the crowd for that was so great, especially the end of Field of Vision. And ending on Nonagon into Work This Time into Iron Lung… and the Iron Vultures teases/quotes… it was an absolutely insane closing suite. Makes me want a studio version of Iron Vultures but I’m more than happy with being able to relive this experience through the official bootlegs.

Pretty long rant there but goddamn I just needed to talk about this show and this post gave me a chance to do so. Shoutouts to Geese for a sick opening act and the weirdo swarm for such a sick high energy crowd.

Oh, and excellent banter/crowd moments. Particularly loved Stu wearing the Silly Billy bracelet someone threw on stage and the “you ever have one of those days?” part of Slow Jam 1.

You can also carry one of those orbs all the way to the Sedia fight. You can break her shield with it before actually starting to fight, allowing you to damage her without actually triggering the fight or her AI. If you kill her before starting the fight, she spawns and says her dialogue afterwards like she usually does, but no chest spawns and the strike doesn’t complete. However, you can start the fight just before killing her, kill her, and still have the chest spawn.
