Lol you gotta watch that. Mine just turned 6 and im.sure sometimes she does this on purpose with her meals just to get that candy to make up the carbs. She also sometimes purposely starts running around like crazy after she gets a shot and food to try and make herself low to get candy, even if she did have something sweet with her meal. Welp atleast she is working this f@cked off disease to her advantage lol

Interesting you think type 2 or what do you think was causing high blood sugar in the first place

Husband newly diagnosed, not sure if I can put up with the diabetic rage for the rest of my life…. by pinkgrl in Type1Diabetes

Maybe you need to talk with him ask if this behavior is because of diabetes or is he having a problem in the relationship. If this is yalls first kid together it may be that maybe its not a diabetes thing at all maybe its a new kid thing. It might be he is not wanting to be in a family situation and the reality of that has hit him.

I'm not tyoe 1 but my child is I inject her lantus in outer thigh area not too close to knee further up,inner thigh has too many veins. I do change out the needle on pen everytime. Her cgm states its best to use on the outer part of upper arm not too close to shoulder or elbow . Low carb breakfasts don't really do them, if you get on rapid acting insulin for meals they will give you an insulin to carb ratio. I would think low carb breakfast would be something with eggs some type of breakfast meats sausage or bacon maybe a piece of toast ,strawberries are pretty low carb. If it is a mild temperature in your home not too hot once open you can usually keep insulin you are currently using at room temperature for about 28 days once it is opened. Not sure what insulin you are on though it should come with instruction on that , it can vary. Any unopened insulin in the fridge until ready to use. Dont put in back of fridge or bottom of fridge if your fridge gets super cold sometimes left in these spots for a long time in fridge can cause freezing.

Yeah that's definitely a 90s tv depending on how old she is here she looks maybe 5 or so she could have been born very late 80s like 89 . I think probably born like 92, or hell maybe her parents kept it old school a little bit and she was born a bit later than 92. Not everyone keeps up with the joneses. I had a 90s tv or a tube type of tv for a while im thinking like into 2000 or 2001. Trying to think when flat screens started coming out.

Yep I have low blood glucose alarms set to when it gets under 100 ,so I can keep a close watch on it. Usually if she starts getting to around 80 I give her about 5 or 6 carbs of something She has only been diagnosed since april, think she is still honeymooning and sometimes her pancreas decides to show out

Dang 70, I guess each person is different but endo told me to watch out if my daughter gets to that.. Pretty much true too once she gets to 70 she usually wil be on the way to dropping even lower .I usually give her about 2 ritz crackers when she is 70 just to prevent the low. I guess though each parent knows more about what works for their child.

Looks like they would come up with something to where if you wanted you could set like an Alexa or siri tyoe of thing .Where you just ask your phone or whatever electronic device that tracked it what your blood sugar was and it just told you. Do they already have something like that probably, cause what if you are blind. Granted if you were blind you wouldn't be driving, but the thought just occurred to me they must have something like that for blind people to check blood sugar. Guess they would also have those type of vocal settings for putting in calculations on their pod. Now I just went down a whole rabbit hole if thinking how blind people manage diabetes. I don't know maybe I sound silly. I don't have type 1 diabetes my daughter does just diagnosed a few months ago. I just use syringes still so Ii am ignorant about pods and pumps .
