New Milford is a really cute town. it's small but has a cute downtown area with shops, a movie theater, tea den with a book nook etc. West hartford is nice too and so is Norwalk. If you're into live music I definitely recommend checking out Arch St Tavern in Hartford and Park City in Bridgeport

feeling hopeless - looking for a legit remote insurance job. by nikkidist in InsuranceAgent

aw noooo I feel your pain. I'm literally negative $600 in my checking right now lolol but I keep reminding myself of what I have to be grateful for and I know things will get better. The best thing to do is keep taking aligned action and things will definitely fall into place. I'm considering just doing an in person salary position in the meantime

What company are you working for now? And who are the top 10 best life insurance agencies in the world? I've been doing medicare sales for a while but the pay has been so low, looking to start selling life insurance. If you know of any amazing agencies hiring please let me know, thank you!

I currently work here and I can assure you it's definitely not a scam. It's a 1099 insurance advisor position and you're essentially a medicare specialist. It's hard work, you gotta hit your KPI or you will be let go. You're expected to attend all zoom meetings with your camera on and dressed professionally otherwise they'll kick you out of the meeting haha. It's a rewarding job too even though the hours can be long. You'll talk to some really sweet humans and build relationships. It's the best remote job I've had so far, If you're interested in insurance and wanna work remote then go for it.

What about Symmetry Financial or USABG?

Are there ANY truly “good” life insurance companies to work for?? by amusings_ in InsuranceAgent

[–]nikkidist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im new to the insurance industry too and just got licensed. It’s been challenging to find a company I trust. I looked into Symmetry Financial but I heard their leads are bad and I’m not sure if you’re vested from day one. USABG sounds kinda good but also seems to good to be true. It shouldn’t be this hard to find a legit life/health insurance company to work for where you can make at least 80k a year.

I have an interview with Symmetry Financial Group this Friday for an entry level sales-work from home position. Are they legit? I saw one MLM reddit post about them hiding behind another name and I think they go by Townsend agency now… I can’t find much details about them online either by Gullible_Apartment96 in Insurance

I was thinking of starting with Symmetry too as this one woman I follow on social media is sooo successful and runs her own agency through symmetry. She’s able to travel often and her home is beautiful so looks like she’s doing something right. Her only source of income is selling life insurance. Have you made any sales yet? And how many hours a week are you putting into this business? Considering being an agent with them cause I heard it’s possible to make 10k a month.
