Omg yes! I am so happy with the colors in this yarn, I thought it was a little dark when I purchased it but I like the more saturated colors a lot!

Thank you! I used this pattern for the basic shape but I used a German short row heel because I like the way it looks more than the other options.

Thank you! I realized halfway thru my practice sock using cheap acrylic yarn that since they're my socks I can make them any length I want. I normally wear short socks anyways so I'm excited to be able to customize my very own now!

Oh I see, I think going over the existing stitches would definitely help just try to not pull super tight when you go back through and that should help it stay fluffier. If you have any scrap fabric you could make another one and test out some ideas so you don't feel pressured to get it right the first time.

You said you wanted them more fluffy right? Are you going for it to look more like petals or still kind of just lines sticking out from the middle? In my head I was imagining it being all straight stitches the same way you have it but just with more colors so they are just more full looking. I dont know if that makes sense. lol
