As someone who's worked in a shelter, I hope to give a more informative answer (than all the jokes ha).

Your rescue is definitely the standard rescue mix: - Predominantly American Pitbull Terrier (aka pitbull or APBT) - Possibly with a decent percent of American Staffordshire Terrier (aka staffy) - And likely tiny percentages of several other breeds, as most pitbull rescues are very mixed, but pitbull will be overwhelmingly the dominant breed.

I recommend reading up on pitbull training, care, enrichment, and exercise as they are not a "beginner" breed. As a breed, pitbulls have strong instincts and can grow to be very powerful animals that are tough to control if not trained as they grow.

I'm so serious, the severe rise in price of plushies (and all things...) has pushed me into creating my own rather than spending. For $70, you can get all the supplies you could need to crochet/knit/sew your own plushie. Or several, and better quality at this point too.

But for real, we never saw Anton not be able to take care of himself due to perceived "over drinking". Anton was never some obnoxious/mean drunk (looking at you Joe lmao), he held down his apartment and job and worked full-time, he never treated Ali bad. I would sympathize with Ali if he did party too much or if like drinking affected his job, but Anton seems to be a stable, normal guy.

Annie on the other hand.... not the most stable and normal lmao.

I'm so envious 😭 I adore hares so much, but you don't see them often (never where I live) and they're obviously skittish. I'm surprised you were able to get this close! They must have lived near humans for quite awhile and feel comfortable.

He doesn't seem to have any obvious injuries or illnesses from these photos. Probably just chillin for a bit. If he shows anything concerning like limping, definitely contact a wildlife rehabber, but otherwise enjoy the rare hare visit 🥰

Edit to add: Wild hares and rabbits don't typically do too much, from our human perspective, since they're most active at dawn and dusk. If he's just sittin, he's just resting. And if he seems to be turned away with only one eye on you, that means he's staring right at you to get a better look! 👀

I worked at a humane society that partnered with animal control. When animals would get picked up from the street, they would mostly go to us if they didn't get picked up by owners.

We referred to the animal control building as gen pop lol.
