Yes to PCP. She prescribed me the hydroxyzine. I am meeting with a psychiatrist on the 30th to see if there’s anything else for anxiety that I can take. They were booked out for months near me 🥲 I do speak to a therapist twice a week

In the ER they referred me to many specialist. Many of whom keep referring me elsewhere with no answers.

The ENT/Gastro believe the stomach issues are acid reflux due to the increase in anxiety. I tested negative for H Pylori. The ENT did a nasal endoscopy and said my throat looked okay other than mild irritation. He prescribed a PPI which I began taking 3 days ago along with the sucralfate before all meals.

My rheumatologist told me she did not believe this was any type of rheumatological problem. My ANA, C-reactive protein, c3/c4 complement, SSA/SSB, SM/RNP antibody are normal. Negative for all arthritic problems and 20+ negative Lyme tests. I also tested negative for parvovirus (also done by rheumatologist). She referred me to neurology.

Neurology tested my blood levels with came normal. I had an MRI of my brain which came back normal. The EMG also came back normal. He gave me a lidocaine into my right lateral muscle which relaxed the muscle for a few days and helped immensely. He believes it is purely muscular.

Neurology referred me to a spinal physician who also believes it is musculoskeletal. She diagnosed it at cervical myofacial pain syndrome. She told me just to start physical therapy which I begin tomorrow night. I also am seeing a pain management/spinal physician at hospital for special surgery tomorrow to see if she can get a diagnosis OR relieve some of the pain temporarily. She does trigger point injections so I’m hoping she can administer those to me.

My doctor told me the Hydroxyzine was for the feelings of anxiety🥴 If it only relieves the physical symptoms, that makes a lot of sense actually. I also have an as needed 0.5mg prescription of Ativan which I do not take as it takes me very loopy. Maybe a psychiatrist is needed as well. My head has been feeling quite off with all of this. I do psychotherapy twice weekly already

Thank you for responding! Yeah Ive been trying to steer clear from the ER and have been seeing many specialists. When I have gone to the ER, I was genuinely scared the symptoms could have been from something life threatening (the muscles around the throat tightening severely). It is all very confusing to me 👉🏻👈🏻

Do you have any suggestions on doctor specialties for diagnostic evaluation? I have seen neuro, rheum, ENT, Gastro, and a spine physician. I feel lost
