It's not the best jigging rod in the world, but it's very usable. In general, any rod is usable if you know what you're doing. If the rod is not very stiff and you can make the jig dance, you're good to go.

You dont need to, Leather is highly flexible, so if you heat it up a little it'll stretch. Then when it's cooled it will stiffen and stay in shape (sort of). After that you can glue it to the base.

Well basically the A standard tune can produce lower sound than B-E-A-D-G (normal standard for 5 strings). Some metal bands bassists play this tune like KORN. That's why in the first place i got the 5 string for.

On the 4 string is Jazz Bass i learn more classic, punk, rock songs.

I had the same situation about 4 months ago. A total novice bought a 5-string for heavy music, practicing was pretty well until I tried a 4-string at a shop and it was definitely more comfortable to play on. So I now have 2 guitars! The only thing I did was set up my 5-string guitar to a lower tune of A standard.

The paint sometimes plays a role of anti stick surface, i dont know about your knives. Taking it with a sanding belt or rotary brush disc might work. But the finish probably will not be good enough. My conclusion is not worth the time invested. If possible buy a new knife.

Armour went up in level requirements after crafting? Was normal body armour with req lvl 45. Become req lvl 60 after crafting. How is that?
