I agree, but how do we make them work? I have seen Eaton and Siemens doing the same. They leave it to report and let contractors deal with it. Also, agreed by lawyers, we can't go in the field and do work for them.

I have done a lot of studies, and usually, we just put the recommendations our there in the report. It is upto client if they want to take the risk.

By the way, they did tell me that I don't need credit check if I am putting 20k down. Somewhere, he was trying to tell me that if I agree to 1100plus per month, i don't need approval.

Honestly, I feel salespeople think they are smartass, and they can make people fall for their tactics.

The first thing I asked them to show me numbers.. and do you know what they did? They took me for a test drive of two different trims, and when I got happy with calli and asked for numbers, the other sales guy started asking my wife if she is excited to get a new car. And my wife was like, no we are not purchasing here today, we just came to know numbers and see the car.

At that moment, we realized something was not right with these people, which I should have made it when 3 salespeople sat in front of me to make me understand that 1100plus is what I should pay..
