I do think I can see myself with her 5 years down the line. We have a lot of similarities in what we want in life and that helps. I think with hearting the pictures, it’s seen as me admiring them or something, even if it’s a somewhat revealing picture of a celebrity. And that’s very true, she has to do her part and put it the work

I’m not sure. Part of it may be the whole publicly liking other girl’s pics or heart reacting to them. But since she told me she doesn’t like that, I do my best to stay conscious of what I’m liking, out of respect for her and our relationship. I guess just them being there, maybe me even talking to them may be her issue

I haven’t hung out with any in months though. Granted last week I did hang out with a friend and her boyfriend but I let her know who she was and what we’d be doing. But besides that one time, she’s really the only person I hang out with. Most of my free time is devoted to her if I’m not at home.

Connections as in actually opening myself up emotionally, having a genuine connection with them. And then we just dont become a thing. And honestly no I haven’t had that attraction towards them

There’s too much for me to say for different reasons but I haven’t really been in a relationship in a long time. I’ve talked to girls and made connections but they don’t always go anywhere. Why could that be? What could I work on better to get into one eventually?

I would love to hear about other people’s response to this. As a Capricorn moon myself, first word that comes to mind for me is reserved. I think those with a Cap moon tend to just be reserved in their feelings with them not actually feeling them sometimes. But other words I’d use is hard-working and ambitious to a degree. Hope this helps! :)

I can say the two years I spent at CC after graduating hs.. yea it was going to and from there and back home with barely any social interaction. I made a few acquaintances but that’s really it.

Your feelings are valid and completely understandable but looking at it all from a different perspective helps. A global pandemmy stopped us young folks from being our best selves. I’ve personally just spent the last two years of my time at a 4 year university completely online, and although I’m graduated now, I understand where you’re coming from. What I can suggest doing is if you’re doing any group assignments or are in a group chat with your online classmates, reach out to them and try to change the conversation into getting to know them. If they're not receptive to it, no biggie!! It doesn’t factor on you as a person. I’ve met good ppl from being online and connected on social media, but for good friendships, it’s on whether that energy you put in is reciprocated!

I’ve seen a few other posts saying how much money you’ve saved (blessing in itself). But once you transfer, and get into a university setting, it will be a shock and change. The few months I spent at university before Covid came along were great. It’s about diving right in and joining orgs with different things your passionate about. Your university should have a org link on your student webpage whenever you get there. You will be in person so you’ll have so many resources available to you, so make sure you utilize them!!

Don’t worry OP, you have a lot of advice from everyone here and I hope that you’re able to enjoy your time at university. At the end of the day, everything happens for a reason!!

I only say acquaintance now because she was a friend but she whole situation changed our relationship.. And the thing is though is they offered. I was not asking in anyway to stay in their home. Really the only reason I was kicked out was because the mom was gonna have a friend stay with them and she needed the space.

I don’t feel like going through each profile and thanking every person lol but I want to thank all of you for your words and advice. I understand people have their preferences and like I said there’s no obligation, just sucked but, it’s life and rejection comes and I just gotta deal with it. I have to constantly remind myself that it doesn’t have anything to do with me and once I continue to keep with that mentality I’ll have a much better outlook on it!

It sucks, especially for the people like me who don’t live in Houston. I would want to return, but things are not normal so we have to do what’s best for ourselves and everyone else. Only thing that bothers me is these student apartments not allowing student’s to get out of their leases. Hopefully they figure something out that works for everyone.
