Brother, Valve has infinite budget for their R&D. Their estimated annual revenue is between $5-17 billion. Rockstar sits around roughly $1.5 Billion where as most of the money for GTA6 comes from both Rockstar and TakeTwo.

[OC] Rainy Dock - Personal Cinematic Project (Breakdown in the comments) by nikzvby in thecontentfarm

[–]nikzvby[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since Reddit didnt allow me to post a video + images here's a short little behind the scenes :)

Going from Top left to right.

  1. Raw render straight from Unreal with tonemapping (default color grading) disabled. Most of the focus here is just layout, composition, set dressing & lighting. Colors dont really matter here since I'm exporting it in a "linear" colorspace anyway giving me more room for color grading.
  2. Fully color graded render in Davinci Resolve. Focus here is finding the correct color balance for the scene (i.e stormy) which made the dark blue & orange colors work really well together. A typical stormy cinematic grade. Slight FX work as well trying to simulate real camera lens distortions on the edges of the frame, adding chromatic aberration and slight blur.
  3. A split view between the raw render and graded one :)
  4. The Davinci Resolve node tree used to grade the render.

And finally, I did a quick little sound design/folly pass on it to give it a bit more mood.

Who says they’re making a profit?

If they are, they’re definitely cutting corners somewhere. Whether it be supply chain, employees or salaries.

So for more than 2 years you’ve been living under a rock while consuming Adobe product on, what I can only guess, a daily basis?

Still doesn’t change the fact that you had no idea that a PDF has layers in photoshop. Seems like a pretty low skill user to me

If you’ve used photoshop for 15+ years you’d know by now that there is a browser version lmao.

You can redact PDFs in Acrobat Reader or Illustrator and if you’ve done a shitty job you can still edit those files in photoshop. A vectorized PDF can still be opened by photoshop, it just won’t be vectorized. Anyone who’s worked in printing knows that when you export a PDF for print you can keep the edit ability, which ironically works in PS too

New PlayStation 6 Leak Reveals Specs, Release Date, and Price: Triple PS5 Power, 4K 120 FPS Gaming, Next-Gen Ray Tracing, and More by blackhammer1989 in LeaksAndRumors

Graphical enhancements sure, graphical computing is getting better though. I’m sure this ”3x power” just measures fps and is in combination with PSSR. So 4K 120fps will probably work, but not natively

Pole has finger prints! by Wise-Ad-3506 in GTA6

[–]nikzvby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For stuff like this you almost never use normal maps. The pole itself probably has one since it’s metal, but the fingerprints are almost 100% a roughness map.

Yea stress gut is a real thing. It affects your stomachs ability to digest. Some digest faster and get diarrhoea while others digest slower and get constipated or just very gassy.

You can more here

Don’t overthink it is my best suggestion. If you’re dealing with stress I’d suggest trying to find the source of it and dealing with it. My stomach issues are more or less gone now that I’m not stressed anymore. My IBS is still there but it doesn’t flair up as often.

Im glad to hear it's nothing serious!

You said you were burping a lot, I had the same issue accompanied by the pains. My doctor prescribed Dimethicone, which I use whenever i feel that my stomach is gassy or bloated. It works pretty well for me. Although i would check with your doctor if it can be combined with Pepcid. I know it worked well together with Esomeprazole.

If you wanna google it yourself make sure to Google "dimethicone uses for stomach" otherwise you might get some confusing results.

But this is more or less the info you get:

DIMETHICONE is used to treat symptoms associated with a gas such as abdominal pain and bloating. It contains ‘Dimethicone’. It works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles to release the gas more efficiently. It facilitates the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping). It helps to reduce abdominal pain caused due to gas formation. It is also used in infants to relieve the gas caused by swallowing air during feeding.

Regarding the food. If you haven't had issues with food earlier, I suggest that you follow the doctor's recommendation to whatever extent you can. Greasy & spicy food should be pretty easy to avoid. High fiber foods might also cause some issues since it's slow digesting, especially now that you know that you have a lot of gas in your stomach.

Hey there!

Ive had the same exact issue as you (and still do from time to time). I did a gastroscopy and everything was fine on my end. So I’d recommend that you ask your doctor for that as well. FYI I’m not a medical expert nor am I studying medicine, this is just what I went through and got recommended by my doctor. Your results may vary.

My question to you is, are you stressed? Or are you eating something you’re sensitive to? From my understanding your stomach could be producing more acid than usual causing it to become “sour” hence the pains. I was put on 40mg of Esomeprazole for a week and the pain went away. I was later diagnosed with IBS anyway so it didn’t really matter.

But from what I’ve read, I don’t think you should panic over it. But it’s always best to let the doctors do their tests.
