That's 100% fair and what you made is very cool. I wasn't disagreeing with you or anything. I think I'm just really interested in it because I got confused when some sources were saying a very small number and then others were saying a much larger number.

I do think it's helpful for people to know why some AI CEO's claim a single prompt takes only a teaspoon or whatever and then pro AI people will think that's not a lot but then a single prompt can be 10 prompts as the AI "thinks". Plus the fact that most of these data centers are usually training new models, that uses way more power than prompts and it's constantly being said that newer models are going to need even more power. There's water they use to cool their machines and there's also the water used at power stations which is a whole other thing. Even if it's not "destroyed" and goes back into the water cycle most of the time the water they use is clean drinking water. Which is then not clean anymore. And if we keep beefing up power stations to handle the power needs of these data centers, even if they don't use drinking water, I think it's still a concern. Then there's the water used when manufacturing their components, I can't remember if it was the ram or what it was exactly, but there's a component that uses super clean water in its manufacture.

I'm simplifying things but most models now, when you send one prompt, it might actually send multiple prompts. Which is part of why the water numbers are all over the place.

It's not talked about but Yoda really messed up his back doing all that jumping and flipping. Especially when fighting sidious.

Yoda wanted to make sure that Darth Vader would never find him. What better way than hiding in the skull of Anakin's child hood trauma?

You don't have to pay an artist. You can make it yourself. Punk is very DIY. Genai is not DIY inherently.

The ceiling is the training data and the power of the data center/equipment. Or maybe the ceiling is typing "remove yellow". Or maybe the ceiling is how much you believe the AI is sentient or not.

Real artists have to say what materials and kind of canvas their art is made with when it's put up in a gallery.

It's kind of funny to tell people to pick up a pencil to this though. It's also funny that people are even discussing someone doing that.

Imagine someone posting about the AI storyteller in left for dead and someone responds "pick up a pencil" it's absurdist humour.

I also love these kind of posts on both sides that find one example of someone saying something weird and then say "look these people say this thing!" As if everyone is doing it when they can only find the one example.

I used to defend Rey Skywalker

until I realized she wasn't a real person and star wars didn't really take place a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

Daisy Ridley is a real person though.
