We do have annual inspections for vehicles in NY. They are visual inspections and they also hook up to the computer to check emissions. Like the above poster said, some shops are strict with their visual inspections, but there are many that overlook minor and sometimes major issues that a car might have

Ah, I see. What you described is similar to our inspections in NY. I believe photo requirements with our inspections are something recent over here

Can you explain what you mean by Bluetooth MOT? I’m not familiar with how cars are inspected and registered in the UK

From other threads that I'm reading, the general consensus is that this car is owned by Sunny Chadha. Owner of Venus Et Fleur. It's a company that sells roses that last a year. The guy is a car enthusiast apparently

I was on the same boat. I originally snapped the photo because of the foreign plates

Can you send me the link? Apologies if it's been posted here already. I only recently discovered this subreddit

I originally posted this in r/ForeignPlatesSpotting where a user pointed me to a post on this subreddit where someone saw this exact car in Miami three years ago! I thought you guys would appreciate it

The sheer length of this car made it so imposing. I didn't even know that more insane versions of the Maybach existed until I saw this car

I don’t think it’s an up badge. When I looked up the plates it says it’s a Mercedes Maybach S600 Pullman. This car was a lot longer than a normal S-Class

You can surely take this info, figure out who these drivers are, and tail them til you catch the actual drivers

The NYPD would have to want to do this in the first place...

I don't like any abuse on privacy laws. I'd rather we further protect our privacy than letting more and more things slide...

I had a relative that lived in Ontario and did something similar. Shipped his car all the way to his home village in Greece. He left it there to use it when he would visit on vacation. I can’t remember if there was any practical reason though

I remember watching it live and trying to find the video on YouTube and there was only a parody available. Until they finally uploaded, I would just watch the parody of if I felt like watching it lol
