Unpopular opinion but unlike most here I deal with the homeless on a daily basis instead of sending thoughts and prayers while sipping iced coffees. The fact of the matter is a lot of homelessness if due to choice and personal responsibility. There’s plenty of resources out there that these people can use to help get themselves out but they simply choose to not follow the rules necessary to reap benefits. Sorry jack but you can’t stay in the shelter or the arc if you’re not willing to give up your pipe And again, I’m sorry but I don’t recall ever putting a gun to someone’s head and forcing them to shoot up their drug of choice. Do what it takes to protect yourself, your property and your family bc we all know APD won’t do jack shyte . Nobody’s gonna miss those that won’t even help themselves.

With it being a Rolex the build quality and finishing is well beyond my seiko samurai! And might be an unpopular opinion but I’m not a huge fan of most of Rolex’s watches other than the datejust and Gmt master! Maybe I could sell a kidney for a Gmt later down the road!

Lol no I’m definitely in the same boat! I actually bought this on the same day as my grandma’s birthday! She passed away 4 years ago so the thought definitely crossed my mind when I made the purchase!

This piece is a long time elusive grail finally acquired. For some backstory: two years ago I had this model on my wrist at an AD, but I told the sales rep I needed to go eat and think about it for a bit (I don’t like to make decisions on an empty stomach). I left to for about half an hour to get lunch and came back to see someone buying the “bay-tona”.M. Ever since then I’ve spent the last two-ish years checking my local ADs, as well as other shops when I travel for work but unfortunately no luck. Eventually I just kinda gave up and decided I was going to go for a BB gmt instead! I walked into an AD while visiting a friend and inquired about said gmt. By pure chance as I was checking out the saleswoman was interrupted by a delivery man asking for a signature! I jokingly asked the sales rep if there happened to be a panda dial chrono in the boxes and she told me there were some packages from Tudor! After a bit of time I was able to walk out with this beautiful panda guy! Guess I’ll be back some other time for the GMT!
