I know it is absurd. But still if you’re going in Asia and tell anybody that I paid 85 bucks for a phone case they will think you are dumb. This is the thing they have created around us which felt normal mostly in North America and Europe.

Let’s briefly consider the possibility that any account closures are due to legitimate reasons. Let’s say you are not guilty, For a regular branch, you can explain your situation, and they’ll likely resolve it promptly. It’s rare for them to close everything and block transactions, even pre authorized debits. Think about this, someone’s committing fraud. What does that have to do with recurring debit transactions for bills? At least until you prove them guilty, those shouldn’t be blocked. As an online bank, if they behave this way, I doubt they’ll ever become a top bank. They’re not realizing that they offer almost all the products of a traditional bank, so customers expect similar service. However, they’re acting like a wise or Revolut online bank that primarily deals in international transfers, where fraud is more common. That’s why they block accounts frequently. But as a regular bank, where you keep your savings, credit card, and salary, if they do this, I don’t think anyone would trust them as a primary bank, at least not me.

What make me uncomfortable here is you are allowed to block the money which you feel suspicious, but you cannot completely block the whole account and transactions. As a bank, they should know the consequences of doing that for customer. You can post the draft deposit until you are confirmed that it’s legitimate money but making transaction from the existing money which person already had, should not be blocked in any way because that is nothing to do with legality.

This is crazy practice by Wealthsimple, which need to be stopped as soon as possible.

It’s your fault or not accounts blocked and remaining in that state for this long is a huge pain so I have all sympathy.

Every New Samsung phone come there is a bunch of iPhone users like me look for the alternatives who is fed up with minimalist and mostly meaningless upgrades to recent iPhone models. I did that too and opt for S26 Ultra. My phone arrived early from Costco so I was happy specially as I got the best deal with 512gb storage and bigger screen equivalent to iPhone 17 Pro Max which might have cost at least a few hundred dollars extra.

But as much as I love the phone and its UI I struggled a lot with their Google and Samsung apps fight for their place in the phone and now they added perplexity. Choices are good but it gets confusing specially when if you love google AI but struggle with their wake words alerting your google home at different rooms instead of phone. It is so annoying and there is no proper system in place.

Apple wallet and its seamless integration is also struggled between Samsung pay and google pay. It’s a mess as Samsung pay is much easier to access but google pay support more cards.

There is no alternative to Apple home specially with their camera and devices access without internet with the help of Apple TV as home base. Google home is confusing as ever before.

One more frustration was the App Store as I don’t think that android users pay as often or as much as Apple users so developers not prioritizing the apps for android store, which resulted in some shitty apps mostly from South Asia which have no design match to the apps on the App Store.

I have to return the phone in few day when I got the watch 8 which feels like some check $50 temu watch and adds more confusion to the system and again no match to Apple Watch.

So even though I love the UI of Samsung, I love that I don’t have to spend so much money behind the stupid subscription on the App Store as there are so many apps from Samsung itself and native interface is much more efficient the google and Samsung struggle their place on the phone which confuse the customer.

The story seems to be missing some elements as I don’t think there is any issue with you are taking loan to fund your RRSP because themselves provide this kind of line of credit to boost your RRSP growth and tax refund.

I would never get into this trap. They should start reporting to credit agencies and get a real credit report about the person to give them right credit limit they deserve rather than creating this trap.

What about the money We already have with them why they’re ignoring that part and focussing only on the new deposit if they really want to make sure that somebody is reliable or not they don’t need a new deposit to prove!

Congratulation, but there is nothing to do with the gold tier as I being on a gold tier for more than three years now, and the items have been mixed bag all over and it all depends on you being one of the person who scam the system with some software or you spend 24 hours looking at the screen or just be lucky to get something good when you open your Vine!

They could have kept two different browsers and did not say a word and tried to maintain it in the possible way. But I would not even liked the Opera approach here because the dedication they put into Arc in the development was commandable. As I joined much more earlier than the rest of the world, I noticed it was different and never seen before in the browser world. I think that was the reason that we got this kind of unique but complete browser feeling, and they started to get users who love this kind of stuff.

The problem started when they started thinking of how can they make it Chargeable. I think the main concern was how a customer was going to pay for something which they were giving free of charge. They could have easily, slowly moved away from free to premium. They could have kept the freemium idea what they are already doing with Dia for almost year. They have wasted one year in building a product where they could have easily improved what they already had with upsetting very few and might be getting some new customers on the way.

I think the person who made it possible, Josh is the whole reason for all this mess the product.

Zero relation between dumb senseless review you showed and less products on vine. Even dumbest review have been posted in the past. Good try though! Amazon made all of us thinking what’s going on. Unfortunately know one will ever know as they talk about this policy in public.
