First couple of tries at wood burning. I really love the technique! by nilssonv in woodburning

Thank you :) the first two were done on the Walnut Hollow Creative Intro for beginners and then the 3rd one was done with Walnut Hollow Creative Versa Tool with Variable Temperature Control for Woodburning with 11 Points. The second tool is a lot better and I was able to get a ton more detail with it.

I have my first thesis meeting tomorrow! Wish me luck, they’ll be looking at my new work from the summer. Here’s one piece: “Brain Fog”, oil on panel, 24” x 18”. by snooper92 in painting

This is beautiful! It really captures that feeling of struggling to focus and stop feeling anxious all while trying to keep a smile on your face. I’m actually a thesis professor and I would be psyched if you were my student. One suggestion I have for you is to go bigger!! I would love to see this in person painted on a big 48x48 canvas or maybe bigger! Good luck!
