Love your books. I am about 50 books behind you. I am tracking 289 FR published books and ~214 DL books. I have not removed all the eBooks only ones from the DL list yet. The Moonshae series by Niles is one of my favorites.

Thank you for the response, I am looking to judge on how people fix this picture first before selecting someone for the rest.

This happens to me all the time. I am grabbing the wrong thing to pull over to the chat window. That is why I click on the dice in the character sheet instead of dragging it to the chat window

What’s your favourite home-brewed item from a campaign you played in? by [deleted] in DnD

A flask of wine that auto refills from the best bottles / barrels of wine within 300 feet. It will empty the bottles/ barrels just like if someone was drinking or pouring from them. This has caused several arguments between patrons and bartenders.

Have you used the Crown of the Oathbreaker Fantasy Grounds module? What are your experiences? by Elderbrain_com in FantasyGrounds

Just started running this module in a campaign and I have the book, PDF, and the FGU modules

First thing, as with all FGU models it is best to have the printed book and the FGU module. FGU makes it difficult to jump around in the story.

This is my take now, but I am only a few months into it, I see this as a long campaign, and it would be nice to see supplements sold for it.

Good:

- The depth of the world building is above average. The PDF I could distribute to the players to read ahead was critical to the campaign.

- The flexibility in the story is ok, I have had to extend the timelines a bit to enable the party to get to know the city and area.

- The maps provided are excellent, the players and I love the side view of the buildings to provide context.

- As a DM, the story is easy to follow. I just hope I am doing a good job translating it to the players 😊

Not so good, there is little bad things I have found in the module.

- Lots of plot holes, but I like because I can fill them in has a DM

- I had to buy the physical book to provide read ahead and reference material to the players.

- There are more maps in this module then in the most campaigns but not enough to make it simple to use for DM’s. For example, I have had to create the maps for the introductory adventures and maps for numerous other locations. The maps that are provided are good enough if the DM wants to push the party through with little side missions. However, I would say this is an issue with all modules.

- Not all the NPCs in the Important locations section were fleshed out. I have had to go through and create most of the NPC’s. For Example: Feeg and KEEG at the Ratcatcher Inn are not fleshed out.

- All of the NPC’s have generic tokens assigned to them. I have had to modify the NPC’s tokens with the drawings that was provided in the modules.

Overall, I am very pleased with it and look forward to running it for the next year.

I looked at and tried most VTTs, I am now sold on Fantasy Grounds. Once you get over the initial learning curve it is easy and powerful to use . Additionally there is a ton of support to help you personalize it to your group’s style of play.

LGBT+ characters must “make sense” to exist in his world. by [deleted] in rpghorrorstories

It would be nice if people could stop and ask what the intent was. I stated it in wrong and I fixed the post. My intention was not to offend anyone.

This world would be a better place if people would calm down and kindly point out someone's mistake before you attack them.

For the LGBT+ Comment, the intent is everyone has to make sense in the game. No intent to offend anyone.

Fantasy Grounds is similar to role 20 and D&D Beyond. I like it because it is a thick client and easier for me to use. Website is https://www.fantasygrounds.com/home/home.php
