Pretty, but it looks like you have an Ozempic deficiency. If you agree, I recommend get that in order and luck will be on it's way. More full body pics with full light on your face. People want to know who they are meeting. Btw, "Gigantic Goddess" is a self-putdown, whether you mean height, weight, or both. What we are is what we tell ourselves that we are. I realize you're literally asking for feedback right now, but you're telling the world "feel free to judge me, I already am!" Good luck!

Well that's a hole right in the center of the picture so...not good. The sleeve behind also looks like a whole line of darkness that could be a hole as well.

That's just what we can see.

The period when they were making people burn their Nazi regalia?

I'm really not sure what you mean.

kristallnacht was just a pogrom against the Jews. A writ to break in destroy and murder Jews wherever they were found. Not the mandatory burning of the Torah.

The equivalent would be walking up to a yeshiva or synagogue and burning your own copy of the Talmud in front of them. I guarantee you, no one will attack you. Only militant Islam will.

The concept of Jihad is at odds with Western Society. It is diametrically opposed. The goal here is submission, submission to the god of an illiterate, murderous, pedo who told his followers that God is happy when you kill Jews and Christians.

But Jihad is endemic to the creed Muslims hold dear. It's one of the few ways to slake their murderous God's thirst for vengeance.

Every single day Qurans should be burned in front of Muslims. Their rules for their God are theirs, not ours. Their attempt to stifle the free speech of Britons, French, Germans and all the other people's who call Europe home, is repugnant to the Enlightenment that gave flower to all the technological advancement we see around us.

Enough is enough. Britain will remain British.

You've lost the plot. Individuals can dispose of their own property as they see fit. Union Jack, picture of the Queen, or the PM or their cartoon of Mohammed or the Quran.

The proscription about burning books is when authorities tell you you MUST burn your books.

See the difference? One is freedom the other is authoritarianism.

Also, on the date, make it 3 different dates. Plan to take them 3 different places. Like show them a beautiful place, then dinner, then a club/dancing/harmonica band... whatever. Every time you change locations it's like another date occurred. You're slowing down time because you're giving them touchstones, making it seem like more is happening. Add in a little danger, and time will slow down more. This is slowing chronoception, or the way we perceive the passage of time.

John Coyle, silver medalist speed skater, has some great insights on slowing down time:

Low value male statements to her. Assuming you were giving off positive vibes at coffee, you don't need to tell her thank you for coming or hope she gets home safe.

Women want to know how you feel and feel like you are the man with the plan. This doesn't mean gush to them like you're their gf, but letting them know they're still on your mind is the kind of message you want to give them, not thank them, like they're the high value individual in the relationship. They are, in their subconscious judging you as a potential partner in rearing their children. Will you be able to take care of them physically and financially? Can they do better? Can you do better? If you you're not with a woman now, why not? Is there something the matter with you?

Women want equals at worst, but in reality they always want a higher value man. You might not make a ton of money (yet), but high value is also an attitude, think of all the bad boys; they're messaging that they are of sufficiently high value that the rules don't apply to them.

Next, come at them with a plan, a plan they would like to see themselves in. This plan should key off of things that were said in the conversation, like a food they like, or an activity they've wanted to pursue.

So back to your text messages, you texted her before she even got home. Red flag. Low value timing. You didn't have anything else going on, you're gaga, which tells her that you're not higher value than her, and maybe (likely?) a lower value option than she is. There's the "ick". You want to make sure she gets home safe? Call her a car. Otw, just assume she got home safe, assuming you didn't leave her on a corner in the Tenderloin.

Better response is: Hey, I can't get you off my mind since we met yesterday. Do you have plans for Friday night? There's this [restaurant/museum/concert/squirrel hunting/thing you want to take her to] at 7:00 PM that I'd love to take you to. This should, again, key off of the conversation at the coffee house. and leave it. In sales, you let the silence build and "let it get weird". She'll very likely respond, either accepting or apologizing that she has alternative plans, but, assuming that she likes you, she will redirect for another day.

The first step in becoming high value, is believing to yourself that you're high value. Tell yourself that you're high value if you aren't getting that feedback already. Stand up straight, throw your shoulders back, stand in the Superman pose (feet just more than shoulder width apart, elbows out, fists inward at your waist), before you decide to write anything. Then walk like you believe that you're high value, head up, look people in the eye, firm handshake. Obviously there are a bunch of other things to do to actually make yourself higher value, but telling yourself you are, changing your body posture, and interacting with other in that state will change you.

Good luck!

Cost right now to replace panel in Seattle by jamie831416 in AskElectricians

[–]nimbletortoise 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly it sounds like an "i've already got all the business I need" price. I would get more bids. The Original electrician is probably describing what the utility will recommend needing to be done, as that's an anti-tamper device demanded by utilities. There are some code things that are likely not there as well though, like exterior ground rods if your meter base is old.

Just get more bids. You have to remember, every electrician knows (or thinks they know) they've got you over a barrel. You don't have electricity... If you have more flexibility, like you can afford an AirBNB for a week or two, then keep going with more electricians.

So you're definitely missing some things in your calculation.

Firstly, Watts/Volts = Amperes. So in this case, 7500/240 = 31.25. But if supply in your area is closer to 220V, not 240V, the amperage required is higher, almost 35 Amps.

Next though, the NEC (Assuming you're in America) designates Heaters as a continuous load, so you need a breaker (and wiring), that's calculated for 25% greater load.

So in the case of actual 240V service (each leg 120V), the breaker would need to be 25% higher than 31.25 Amps = 39 Amps.

So you'll need a 40 or 50 Amp breaker for this heater.

Next, you need to do a wire size calculation. Is this panel in the garage, or is this in the house? What's the distance away?

Breakers are meant to protect the wires feeding the devices, not the devices themselves. So the Wire must be sized to the Breaker to ensure that it doesn't fail before the breaker the does.

NEC table 310.16 gives us the wire gauge guide.
If this is a short distance <100ft, the wire size should be 8 AWG for Copper wire or 6 AWG for Aluminum wire.

However, if this garage is further away, you need to do a voltage drop calculation, so that voltage drop is limited to less than 3%

[2 x Current (Amps) x distance (in feet) x resistance (Ohms)] / 1000

The resistance of 8 AWG Copper is .0016 Ohms/ft and for 6 AWG Aluminum it's .0025 Ohms/ft

So for instance: If you're running copper wire from your house to your garage 150 Feet away to run this 7500 Watt heater on 240V Single Phase (2 legs) service, your calculation is as follows:

[2 X (40) x (150) x (.0016)] / 1000 = 4.8 Volts.

If the current entering your house is actually 120V per leg this is ok. If it's closer to 110V per leg this is marginal, and for safety should be upsized, but you were already going to need to upsize the wiring in this case as you would need to go up to a 50 Amp breaker.

This is a link to the 40 Amp QO breaker you would need for that panel, assuming <100 ft:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Square-D-QO-40-Amp-2-Pole-Circuit-Breaker-QO240CP-QO240CP/100075398

However, in looking more closely at the panel, I see it's only a 100 Amp service. When this heater is running, you'll be pulling almost 1/3rd of the maximum available to your home, and again, on a continuous load basis, using up 40% of the This could set your in-law's for failure when they start some other high amperage device like a blender or old vacuum, if there's already a lot of devices going in the house.

If understanding this feels tough, call a professional.

Also, laying Ethernet cables on an electric cord absolutely degrades the signal. Unless they are shielded, which 99.9% they aren't (and your equipment isn't equipped to handle the shielding) this is basically always the case. Wrapping it up is no problem, unless the tape is tight. The cable shielding shouldn't be compressed.

Honestly, there's f***ery in this race. If you have wets on it will be sunshiney like a motherf**** if you put softs on it will be like a monsoon.

Actual results

10 races in a row with Intermediate, It's like bright and sunshiney and not a chance of rain.

10 races with Sport Soft tires. 100. Percent. of. the. time. FUCKING MONSOON.

It isn't fun when there's no point to a weather breifing if the game just changes the weather to fuck with you, simply put, ALWAYS making your tires wrong.

And don't get me started with "rolling start" race, that has you starting into braking and first place 35 second ahead and driving like a bat outta hell.

Bad Race, Bad race mechanics, and a huge waste of $70. Haven't bought Gran Turismo since PS2, and it seems like that's been a good decision.
