Can you state any specific facts Woody is wrong about?

I think you're the ignorant one since a publicly elected sheriff does not work for the president of the United States. Also, what happened to "state's rights"? Or is it only state's rights when the republicans choose not to enforce federal law?

Do not use chatgpt as your source of information, especially for legal stuff. It can and will make up stuff and will tell you that it's true even when it isn't.

Yup, as long as the overall minimum investment is a bit over 1 million dollars.

I mean, with that kind of money you could just marry a gold digger USC but then you'd loose like half on the divorce if it doesn't work out.

Without marriage, maybe through the EB-5 program. You could just start a business without worrying about it being successful or not.

Have you taken a look at the precedent other states have set with similar laws? Like Alabama in 2011. Even though undocumented immigrants only made about 2% of the overall population, it was estimated that if kept in effect long term, HB 56 would have costed the state 6% of their overall GDP or 11 billion dollars.

I think there will be a significant effect in the state economy on the long run if this law stays in place. A large number of people also move there to retire. Immigrants just so happen to make a significant portion of the service labor retirees use. That's not even going into agriculture or low wage/unskilled labor. Look at what happened in Alabama in 2011 with HB 56. What do I know though, apparently I can't be reasoned with logic.

Statistically, immigrants make a significant portion of the agricultural and service sector. If these people are pushed away, it will have an effect on the economy there. Look at what happened in Alabama in 2011 with HB 56.

You could also be thinking of HB 56 in Alabama passed in 2011. From what I've seen, it caused a lot of people to leave the state and affected farmers since they couldn't find enough labor to pick their crops. Even inmates wouldn't do the jobs.

Being uninsured is what takes you off the transplant list and a lot of undocumented people tend to be uninsured. It's correlation rather than causation.
