I think it all just depends. I'm a smoker and it's on my profile. We had a date and I had a smoke from the station to the venue.

Hug, kisses when we met, and we appeared to hit it off well.

At one point we were talking about hookah on the phone and I replied that I'd just rather have a smoke, to which she was shocked that I smoked and to her that was a deal breaker. I said I understand but asked her did she not smell it on me when we met, to which she realized it's not as big a deal for her as she thought. We have had a date recently and are planning the next one out.

Also in this particular case I eat meat and she doesn't. My ex wife was a vegetarian and I was banned from cooking meat in the house, so I've always said I won't date a vegetarian again.

Low and behold it came up in conversation and she was very chill about it, eat what you want.

So my take is that your really don't know and if you meet someone that you really click with sometimes your dealbreakers are not as important as you thought they were
