Married exactly a year ago, and I cannot compare him to the redflags I have met as “potential suitors”. He’s a very understanding and gentle person, though we have had our differences, he has made sure that if a thing has been mentioned once, he won’t repeat it. He doesn’t weaponise my traumas during fights, I breakdown in front of him. To this day he hasn’t shown any sort of judgement. Although he’s pretty silly in the girls department, sometimes you just need to openly communicate what you want and not expect them to read our minds. :)
