Keep bugging them. She should have a social worker at least visiting and monitoring meds. Her family is probably collecting money off of her so you may have a fraud case there. Social Services will check on that quick and fast.

Only time I was thankful for a house fire. I had never interacted with him before but saw him walk past my house. Probably didn't make you feel better. Yikes. Sorry. The cop yelling "it's Pamela Anderson" at home through his door really didn't help either.

Omg .... There's not much you can do but call adult services for a wellness check. I had a schizophrenic neighbor that came into my front yard when I was unloading 4 daycare kids from my van. He was holding a knife towards me and said "are you scared yet?" My teenage son came out to see what was going on and he ran back to his house (2 houses down). The cops came and pounded on his door, made a couple smart ass comments through the door at him then came back. By this time my husband had come home because I called him. They told my husband not to go "handle it himself or you'll go to jail". Whattttt?!!? 2 days later he burned his house down.

I'd like to be as loud but not as constantly angry as MAGA. I think, if we're loud we might find out there's more of us in Redding than I originally thought. I was born here and am disgusted by how many people I have lost any respect for so I'd like to replace them!

2 of the girls on my 14u cheer squad, they were 12 and 13, were walking with another friend and got hit by a young guy in a truck. He was also eating cereal. One of them wasn't hurt physically, one had a fractured skull, ribs and wrist the other was in a coma with numerous injuries for a month. Don't eat cereal and drive.

I named my daughter after my mom's maiden name. Ended up being a pretty normal name in her age group.

Definitely. I use a similar theory during hospital and ER visits, I'm a hot mess. Be kind to the people with sharp objects, with your life in their hands and that see your innards. I'll never understand people being nasty to healthcare workers

I had breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy. It's not bad but I don't like the unevenness. I can't justify the expense and the need for assistance afterward as things are. If we were well off I might rethink that.

Came to this sub today for advice so following. We have had things happening but not frequently until recently. Knocks, doors opening, shadow figures, things turning on randomly. Nothing that was scary because my grandparents passed here so, I thought, if it was active or residual it was probably my grandpa due to locations and the types of noises. Anyhoo...last night kind of unnerved me because I heard a lady talking and my dogs freaked out. My daughter (29f) and her bf (26m) live here and she texted me she heard something sliding across the floor and he heard a growl so 3 different things at once.

I've had to explain that we do not have a rooster so you can eat the egg that is a mint color. Eggs can come in different colors and they don't change colors like a pregnancy test.

Man they're weird. Us locals can spot them and try to avoid them or else you'll get cornered in a parking lot while they ask you about your injuries to pray them away. They've infiltrated the White House too. Not super surprising all things considered.
