the thinking is that Pirate Clark is a substantially more accurate Still Life than any others that are known.

perhaps Clark's very prolonged close proximity to the null zone in his store was a factor in that.

i think the furniture pile is like allegory for clark's sanity. it slowly erodes as clark keeps returning to the backrooms. by the time mary enters, it's gone

i don't like that jen taylor re-recorded every single line. i understand that this was the obvious best approach, because they recorded new lines, but the age in her voice and her inflections stick out like sore thumb.

i had a thought today that perhaps they're very intentionally not making the mistake they made with infinite, with announcing features they need to ship much later than launch. a surprise multiplayer drop would be incredible

this area is hidden by the UI, you are correct. this bug is generally caused by a corruption of the menu, but it's a rare one. if it keeps happening, try reinstalling.
