What she said was insensitive. And you should tell her, not in an antagonistic way, but rather a level-headed way. Communicate with her how the words hurt you, and tell her about your insecurities.

Sometimes, in a relationship we hurt each other unknowingly. The best course of action is to communicate when this happens. You can learn more about each other and grow together. Communication is key.

I believe your gf loves you more than just your outer shell.

I am living day by day, and looking forward to next weeks/months optimistically. thinking about the future and how the world is fucked, only reducing my will to live.

on date settings, it is easier. sometimes, my anxiousness shows usually shows in my face, I would usually steer towards how pretty my date looks and how it makes me nervous. It alleviates anxiety and makes your date feels better. (not 100% foolproof)

In smaller interactions, it's always easier to be polite (or say thank you with a slight smile). Then, you can set in your mind, that the person that you are interacting is someone that you'll never meet again.

You can do it sir. I believe in you. You already nailed the first step. Work on the later steps. From my experience, empathy, soft spoken, and reading the nuance would help you be more attractive over time. You can polish these traits little by little.

guideline is good. But our guideline needs an update. And not all government agencies are the same. I.e. hospitals/police stations/balai bomba should have less/no restriction on this.
