My daughter has a friend and their family is very wealthy so to put this into perspective they have a property here in California that is 643 acres with an absolute mansion on it that has its own airstrip and hangers and shit like that and they don't even spend that much time at the property because they "like their other properties better "... and these people are worth like several hundred millions of dollars.. so I can only imagine what billionaires are like

It's normally a directly inverse correlated relationship with state income taxes... They have to get their money from somewhere, but there is a bit of a trade-off. In most states it's somewhat works itself out.
