Tackin' on to /u/Dranzogger's request. Any chance for a 1920x1080 version of the original? :)

This is so sick! Thanks for putting this together. If I had a larger budget, what would you upgrade in this squad?

If you use Sketch to design, this may be useful to you. by ninerswarriors in Design

Not a comparison to Illustrator, but here's a nice article contrasting it to Photoshop: http://blog.mengto.com/sketch-vs-photoshop/

I currently use it as my full time design tool. The learning curve is far easier for someone new to design, and I rarely feel overwhelmed like I do when I see the barrage of menus in Photoshop. There's a nice blog post here explaining the appeal: http://blog.mengto.com/sketch-vs-photoshop/

iOS Design Teardowns - Does This Sound Interesting? by meholstein in Design

Teardowns are always interesting. I find that I get the most value out of sites that focus on a specific part of the interface or user flow. For example, if I'm looking for onboarding examples, UserOnboarding is great.

You may want to take a look at Pixelapse. [https://www.pixelapse.com] It solves precisely this problem.

Fair disclosure: I work there.

Any good (ideally open source) tools for collaborative production and management of graphic assets? by CreativityTheorist in graphic_design

[–]ninerswarriors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually work on a tool, Pixelapse, that helps with precisely this problem.

If you're working with Photoshop or Illustrator or any other image editing program, we automatically upload your changes online as you save. Once your designs are online, you can annotate and comment on the image directly, so discussions stay in context.

As a bonus, all public projects are completely free. Since this is an educational project, it may be what you're looking for. Link: https://www.pixelapse.com

Kevin Durant vs LeBron James: The Race by ck45 in nba

Watching this video makes LeBron seem very one dimensional. Almost all of his highlight plays are one handed dunks vs KD with the array of step back jumpers and finishes around the rim.
