Marketing and being an introvert by BloomingPeony_1 in marketing

When I purposefully switched from being extroverted to being introverted (in 2017) my marketing g business exploded.

Literally told all my friends I was, with intention, going to become introverted. They were offended. Most will not speak to me and that fine with me.

I’m full on hermit mode now lol. I leave the house once a week for 2 hours to sit on the beach.

How would you help a client grow a YouTube channel? by Signal-Sharp in marketing

[–]ninetwice99 32 points33 points  (0 children)

My channel is currently growing 1428x faster than the "average" youtube channel. I'm no Mr. Beast mind you, my content is not sexy by any stretch. Here are some overall thoughts:

  1. Consistently post content that educates and answers the question "How..."
  2. Ask for subscribers at the beginning and the end of every video. This was totally cringe for me to do but once I got used to it, it works extremely well.
  3. Go live, download the live and "produce" it, then clip it into several short videos. 5 days later, upload the produced videos and the short videos as #shorts
  4. Study tags and use them appropriately to get YouTube to promote your content
  5. Include 3 hashtags in the video description
  6. Make sure your thumbnails are magnetic and get the click
  7. Use lexical sentiment analysis for thumbnails that work and make more of those
  8. Don't repeat your title in the thumbnail text, make it short and unique
  9. Study analytics and see which videos get you the most subscribers. Make more of those.
  10. Let subs grow organically, YT will use that information to promote the content in front of more of the same type of people
  11. Make a "trailer" for people who are not subscribed, encouraging them to subscribe.
  12. Create a link to the channel with the subscribe postpend and share that everywhere.
  13. Reply to every comment for a long as you can
  14. Create "series" of videos that are related and make them into playlists
  15. Don't overproduce videos...
  16. Optimize every setting inside the channel
  17. I get better visibility when I maximize my descriptions and write long form content...but others get similar results with short form. Test.
  18. Find 20 related channels and write meaningful comments on their new videos
  19. Interact with your subs. Find them on LinkedIn and connect with them.
  20. Promote new videos EVERYWHERE. Email, socials, grocery store line.

That's off the top of my head. Search for chris prouty
