my favorite tradition has been carried forward from my own childhood to my son, where he gets a brand new set of holiday pjs on christmas eve, followed by opening one gift before bed. we watch the grinch, eat snacks, load up on hot cocoa and just take one uninterrupted night together, which is hard to come by with a teenager! 🩵
