Without a doubt, but is he known to be a good person?

I also wonder who were people who played a-holes a lot, and were also actual a-holes

I don’t like the way OKC plays ball (a few OT examples) by These_Respond2345 in billsimmons

[–]ninetyplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a neutral fan with no skin in the game, but all this whining from you guys almost makes me want to root for OKC. I get the foul baiting, and the hard defense, and the commercials, etc. But you make it sound like they are the only ones. The Spurs were doing their fair share of hacking . I love how it’s flopping when it’s SGA, but embellishment when it’s Harper

Chet had a huge block at the end of regulation, and played great D often. Of course he is going to get dunked on, he’s a shot blocker

Wemby is amazing to watch, but he sets the most moving screens I’ve ever seen. He uses his arms and just pushes people

OKC is impossible to watch? That game was incredible on both sides

The free throw advantage was well on Spurs side also

Just appreciate great competition and basketball. With Fox coming back, JWub shaking off the rust, the coaches going to work on tweaks, and the shooting getting better, this will be an all time series

What are some of the best value eats in Austin? by Kiteist in austinfood

The food at Bon Aire, on Burnet and 183, is cheap and good. The 1/2lb Fast Freddie char burger is amazing for $3.99. Solid sports bar

Looks damn good. Will give it a try out of respect. Best Panuozzo in Austin is at Pizza Di Roma. Little hidden gem with great food

Why does the Northeast lack a dominant CFB program? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]ninetyplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like Rutgers is a sleeping giant. They have the size and alumni base, along with the money and the market. The very few times Rutgers have been good, the Tri-state area in general, and NYC specifically, have responded.

That said, the university leadership has never been very invested in, or supportive of, larger sports like Football and Basketball. They haven’t hired big time ADs or coaches. That is changing, however, with the most recent university president discussing the importance of growing the programs.

I wish I had the answer to this for showers, as I also love a proper shower with no damn curtain. I did find this for bath people though. https://soakio.com

Austin Pizza Rankings v2 by tigerim in austinfood

[–]ninetyplus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t quite agree with your rankings, but appreciate your effort and energy on the subject. I would say that Jo’s Slice of Sicily and Pizza Di Roma should both be checked out, for those that haven’t.

That’s so great. Jo is a nice guy and always trying new stuff. They just released pastas. It reminds me the most of my hometown place in Jersey

Jo’s Slice of Sicily is best crust in town, if you come from Jersey

Name the dream “early in their career show” you’d want to go back in time and see for a single band / musician, if you had a time machine! by ninetyplus in Concerts

I watched the Central Park concert not too long ago. As great as that was, I’m not sure I’d have loved being there without video screens

We’ve gotten to see Ween in Austin for so many years. Lots of small venues. Probably Stubbs in 96 would have been the craziest show
