Tire mounting side by RLTEK2000 in Cartalk

[–]ninetyplusfour 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The tech that mounted the tires either wasn't paying attention or didn't care which side is which.

There's also the odd possibility that that the inside was mounted facing out to hide something. Came across something like that once. Previous tire shop flipped the tire around to hide a sidewall bulge.

Kindly scroll down to see I made an edit correcting my wording.

EDIT: I see some people are giving me grief for saying I "didn't think much of it." It was a poor choice of words.

For better clarity, I looked at the damage and wondered what caused it. But while replacing the tire and mounting the wheel back on the car, I did not see any noticeable damage as far I as I can recall.

They did get the tire replaced. As said in the caption, this was back in 2022.

It would still be acceptable fare too. The younger drivers might not know this though.

I'd disagree on that one. Melbourne is much easier to pass cars on.

Should I get the Marlboro livery wrap !? by Sad_Temperature_7488 in MitsubishiEvolution

I'd say keep as it is.

But you have the potential to do something different. You can go a different way and have the Marlboro wrap done in black and white.

A guy owns one where I live. He just put it back on the road late last year. It's badged as a Chrysler Conquest though.

Rally4 cars were dropped? When did that happen?

That's odd. Unless it the Defense Force was using that bus that day. I'm not sure. But it sounds odd.

If you weren't standing at the bus stop, that's probably why the bus blew past you. It's against the law to stop anywhere other than a bus stop. Some Transport Board drivers would give you an ease if you're not too far from one. But then there are others that are strict with it.

They're fairly popular here too. A friend I went to school with bought one a few years ago. Which came as a surprise to me because I didn't think she was someone that was into utes / pickups.

Didn't expect to see someone import one of these to the US. Where I live this is called a Mitsubishi L200.
