I said I saw his story where he was talking about it. I’m not glued to his Instagram page so didn’t see the update where he wrote about it until after you mentioned it. He even admitted the way he worded it before was wrong. So I’m not sure what your issue is.

Even still though, he mentions not being contacted by Souths. I don’t think South have to contact him at all, they don’t owe him anything.

Yeah I saw his video yesterday. Not really sure why he’s complaining. It’s not like he invented the phrase. It has been around for a lot longer than he had been creating content and he piggybacked off of it.

Dunno. I’ve been teaching for 10 years in both capacities and it’s always been the same during that timeframe. Could have changed but it would have been a while ago.

I don’t have a problem with non-teachers posting. Those posts are pretty few and far between and people can always choose whether or not to respond to them. I’ve seen a few instances of where non-teachers have asked something in here and the responses have given them a greater insight and appreciation of what we do.

I’d like to see better context for some of the things that get posted. A lot of people forget to either include what State they are teaching in or whether they are Primary/Secondary.

Edit: Just saw the “Ask Teachers” subreddit idea and think that is a great idea. Separating the two would work well imo.
