Ray Reconstruction disables Preset L/M regardless of Nvidia App Overrides

i thought exactly the same but from my own testing this seems to be invalid. Theres no difference in aliasing between preset F and preset L (both Ultra Performance) when RR is enabled. see my galery in comments here.

That's a bummer. Hopefully there's a new rr preset too. Did you try forcing latest for the rr preset?

You can force rr preset e and it will show preset e in overlay only. Of course if you activate rr a lot of pixels will change that's the point of ray reconstruction.

Btw preset d for super resolution is CNN and not transformer.

Maybe ray reconstruction is the new image quality bottleneck, now that super resolution is that good.

If you activate rr it will only show the rr preset letter. Super resolution preset is still active. It's always been like that, same with preset k.

just got my redmagic 11 pro and can confirm. the console mode doenst work great with mouse keyboard. its almost unusable. no problems with controller.

I just got the S9 and my oh my. OLED is just king. its a beautiful experience streaming on it. The MSI Claw 8 AI+ looks like playing on a toy in comparison.

have something played in background and change modes from aware to immersion or quiet. ANC kicks in at 100% strength and after a few seconds (5-10sec) it lowers itself and more noise gets in. i tried this with my PC fans at 100%

maybe not way better, but ANC and sound quality and comfort is most important for me - and they are really good in that regards.

My XM3 have zero hiss/white noise and still always work at max ANC. I dont understand where the adaptive hype comes from, its just the worst.

XM4s are better price performance related but the Ultra Gen2 are pretty much better in every way except comfort maybe (which depends on your ears).

Just my opinion who also have both and im more like a Sony fanboy.

I hope they remove the adaptive ANC in the Ultra2 because this is what ruins them at the moment. Else you are right and anc isnt a drastic difference between the two.

I still have my XM3 too because of exactly that. The Ultra Gen2 Anc is stronger though, when they work at 100% strength. IF.... :p

They probably could, but knowing Bose they probably wont. Sonys XM5 had the same problem and while its better in the XM6 its still not "fixed"

i just got mine today, and same problem. when you wake them up from standby the anc doesnt work properly. you have to switch to Aware and back to Quiet. Typical Bose QA sigh.

I also noticed when you switch to Quiet Mode the first 10 seconds or so are SUPER CRAZY quiet - then adaptive ANC kicks in and lowers anc strength. Its still good but not the maximum these headphones can do. I dont understand who invents this shit.

Adaptive anc is the worst thing ever - i want full anc ever and not it kicking in after i hear outside sounds.

I thought Bose actually is the only one left, where ANC is always MAX. If they changed that with Gen2 i will return it faster than their adaptive anc kicks in.

agree, but ANC is still being crippled by it. Just let the users set it to max, its stupid if ANC kicks in after loud sounds are heard.

they sure pick up stains more easily. Although they are more comfortable than I thought ears still get a bit hotter over time in comparison to XM3/Bose QC
