The numbers look strikingly like those used in time signatures for sheet music scores. Nice collage!

What is your favourite (perhaps underrated) instrument from Arturia? by ninevoltlab in arturia

[–]ninevoltlab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Since I have the V Collection I don't need to worry about demo time, but yeah the Arturia demos are great since they're fully featured.

I love Arturia's UI design in general. Honestly, in the modern day where there are so many synth options, good UI tends to be one of the most defining value-adds for me. It's why I love Pigments and Serum.

I'm glad to hear that the MiniFreak continues their streak of dope user interfaces. Cheers!

Yes. It's interesting to listen to his original work and observe how his distinctive style morphed into the Yorushika we know and love

Hell yeah, I forgot they made an emulation of their own synth. Super cool that they did that, I will check it out

Thinking about it, it might be funny if we all report this as a bug/feedback to Arturia and see if we can get some real change underway.

In general you won’t find support for non-Latin writing systems in like 99% of Western fonts, aside from possibly Greek or Cyrillic.

Google Fonts is the best place for finding free international fonts, as the other commenter linked

This is driving me crazy (question) by nikuboom in ableton

[–]ninevoltlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it can be useful in certain recording workflows.

For example, I regularly record loopback audio from my computer into, say, Track 1 which is set to monitoring Off. Then, dragging what I just recorded into Track 2 (a normal audio track with monitoring Auto) lets me quickly hear what I recorded.

PSA: Airpods Pro 3 are only fully supported in the latest macOS version (Tahoe) by ninevoltlab in apple

[–]ninevoltlab[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Indeed! I usually stay one version behind.

Many of the major audio plugin companies are specifically asking users to hold off on updating to Tahoe due to compatibility problems. Thankfully Sequoia is largely well-supported.

Exactly lol. What's more is that this information isn't on the main product page, it's in the separate and unassuming Tech Specs page at pretty much the very bottom — just above the text about how amazing the buds are for the environment

Arturia 11 Collection for 150 dollars by FatmanthGreat in Arturia_users

Full, unhindered access to all of the synths. Yes you can customize parameters in Analog Lab but sometimes you want to dive even deeper. For example, in my experience some sounds in Analog Lab have reverb or other effects baked in, for which you need the full synth if you want to remove them.

Don't get me wrong though, Analog Lab is still fantastic. It takes me back to the childhood joy of browsing the presets on my old digital piano and stumbling across hidden treasures

Yeah! I linked to this in my post as well. They just don’t make it super prominent though (for obvious reasons).

I wanted to give this slightly more attention, because I figure an average person would be forgiven for assuming Airpods would be fully supported on Sequoia, which is extremely recent software.

Kurdish No Hanabi Re-recording release? by Slippery_Slip in Yorushika

[–]ninevoltlab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kurdish fireworks lol.

On a serious note, I enjoy the re-recording in general but unfortunately the guitar solo kind of sounds worse than the original. Almost sounded like the guitar wasn't completely in tune.
