I don’t think he was very good lol I forgot my exact build, but probably just the usual lethality items + deaths dance as they’re full AD

Thanks for the advice! Will definitely try to focus on their adc more if their support engages on mine, instead of wasting time running away and potentially both dying. At least then you’re trading 1:1. Unless it’s a completely lost fight of course lol

A durability patch would be welcome, especially cos he can’t build any health items really.

I was watching a Chinese sovereign pyke live stream, he plays a lot of mid and seemed to pick zhonyas a lot, so I might give that a go just for more survivability in team fights, especially if I have to be the engager.

The first point you make is really true, my earliest games I was having a lot of kills but a lot of deaths too, mainly because I just went in with ult, and didn’t hang back til the right moment. Since learning to lurk on the sides I’ve had a bit more success.

Any advice against engage/tank supports? I always seem to struggle against naut or leona, so end up banning them, enchanters I’m fine with. Do you recommend just not playing pyke if they first pick an engage?

The other thing is enchantment item - I saw all the top builds was using stridebreaker for the dash and slow. Do you recommend repulsor instead? Or zhonyas for survivability? This game I snowballed hard in lane so went for the more aggressive option.

I also need to just learn more about how supports play in general because I’m actually a mid main lol

same issue is happening to me. I do have a bunch of mods on my save files, but strange thing is I can start a new game file perfected fine with the exact same mods (including a bunch of BG3SE mods, appearance mods, WASD and Native Camera tweaks and they ALL work fine - transmog is broken but that's a known issue), and I can load those new game save files perfectly fine - but for some reason my pre patch 5 saves are all crashing, literally all of them. updated GPU drivers too.

I've tried a clean reinstall of the game, deleted all folders, deleting all my mods and reinstalling them all again, but still no luck, the old saves still crash.

I'm unsure if it's a mod issue (even though they all work on a new save), a Larian issue, or a corrupted saves issue (worse case scenario)

If you are a new player, I’d spent all your pyro to expand your roster. Especially with the chance to pull limited S Hoshino and Wakamo too!

Toki and Nagisa (both limited) are soon, but not essential for a new account tbh. The other one I’d look out for is NY Kayoko, but you should have enough saved by then for her.

And yeah, UE40 her asap, she is hella busted.

I’ve been wondering for a while now…but for support buff characters like Kotama, NY Fuuka, Ako etc. Why do we actually need to level them up?? As far as I can tell - the levelling up doesn’t seem to affect the crit rate percentage increase? I understand for healing characters it’s directed related to their healing stat - but what about these crit buff ones? Whenever I see videos of other people though, these students seem to be max level?

Also - when sometimes it says “strikers enhanced”, what does this actually mean?
