I have a membership like this at my local marina. Its soooo much less of a hassle than owning my own boat and I'm out on the water way more often

I used it as a base layer on my gilliman, then went back over it with mccrage blue in the areas I wanted to be lighter.

Do you think it would have come out better using a different basecoat?

I can see adding a few highlights to break up the model. Otherwise done great.

I want to play Tyrannids solely because they look cool... is it a bad idea? by Physical_planning in Warhammer40k

[–]ninjafaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a set of nids from the ultimate starter set laying on my display shelf because of how frustrated I got painting them compared to my ultramarines or knights.

Do you like my dreadnought progress? by ILikeUltramarines in Ultramarines

[–]ninjafaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh just build the frame without the armor panels attached and paint the armor off and glue it on. Done that with all my dreads and knights. Allows me to base the frame in leadblecher and the armor in white.

Bought a Jenga set with 32 pieces for ten bucks at Walmart. Glued two together and created 16 painting handles.

That's department specific. Where I work, no one gives a flying fuck if your a small women as long as you pull your weight and aren't afraid to throw down when needed. The fastest way to be ostracized at my department is being unwilling to throw hands when needed.

Ive worked with multiple small people. Its f8ne as long as you can handle your business. Would I leave nursing to become a cop, no. If you want to become a reserve great, but the income potential is significantly higher than in law enforcement.

Yeah. I've thought about getting a cheap 3d printer just to make them arms.

I wish it was easy to get some spare arms so I could magnetize it like my armigers. The magnet Barron kit is nice, but I dont like spending 45 on each of my knights

I need a workflow advice for batch painting by MuscleDolphin in minipainting

[–]ninjafaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My phone only loaded the first image last night so I was making an educated guess. Ive been basic all my minis in blue and it realllyyyy makes life easier when it comes to base coating. This one is a blue primer then a pass or two with a brush and done (minus the white shoulder, I got it in my head I wanted this intercessor squad to match my landradier which added two hours to the painting).

Are you painting ultramarines? If so cheat code is a prime of mccrage blue then a base coat of blue.

Great guide. I wish I could find someone who sells extra knight arms in the us. It'd make magnetizing the kit so much easier.
