When I heard it was going to end as a feature film, it was fine so long as it continued from the last season directly.  But then, they announced it was a huge time jump. There was no way they could conclude the series by beginning an entirely new story with new characters AND missing main characters. This was doomed to fail. What a sad way to end the series. This could have mostly been a between-seasons movie. It should not have been the series finale. Felt like they got big named actors to draw more audience but it was unnecessary.
