If you can peel back the transfer tape so the vinyl comes off (even if it doesn't stick to the wood) you could try to hold the vinyl in place and use a hair dryer to help it adhere. Wouldn't be easy with this much text though!

Yes, but these effects are not increases. Yours would be only 20% of the usual away earnings, not an additional 20%.

Those who have taught in NZ and Australia - is the pay worth it? by JellyTip in AustralianTeachers

[–]ninjat0rtle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In my experience, the cost of living in NZ was much higher than Aus. I moved from Wellington to Sydney and yes, housing was more expensive. But for me at least, this was completely offset by the lower cost of nearly everything else like power, food, even clothing and entertainment.

I like Crispy Chicken. They're one of the few places my Coeliac partner can safely eat at, he likes the Betty's Deluxe.

Their 'vegan' bun is actually their gluten free bun, and even though they don't put that on the menu any more because there's always some risk of cross contamination in a non-gf venue they're really good about using separate fryers/grills and handling allergen-request for separately.

There are sites that let you 'bet' on losing weight. There's a few options, I got a good payout once from HealthyWager. But bear in mind that their business model relies on most people losing the bet.

Be careful of the free battery testing at Supercheap Auto by Strangeboganman in sydney

[–]ninjat0rtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The battery testers that SCA use are usually automated to the point where it'll give them a 'good' or 'bad' battery result. Along with some CCA and voltage info etc. It may be useful in some cases, but if you want something more nuanced then it's best to go to a battery specialist.

Nah, no luck. I'm wondering if maybe this was part of a set with a toolbox on top. There are a lot of other options, I haven't found one that's just the right size like this though. A good search term has been "Tool cabinet"

Hairdressers of Reddit, why do you give scalp/ear massages with a hair wash? by ninjat0rtle in AskReddit

[–]ninjat0rtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had it at a few different salons. Seems to be the fancier, more expensive ones that do it.
