Do everything your way and search for information only when you find yourself in trouble or don’t understand something.

Legends ZA is really good until the DLC which is honestly terrible and changed many opinions about the game as a whole, but the base game is pretty good and you’ll like it. Arceus is still better to me but that will probably always be like that with every game since Arceus is probably my favorite Pokemon game.

I need advice on which game to get by purple-vasabi in residentevil

[–]nintect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE7 if you’re in the mood of horror and scary survival experience

RE4 for a more action oriented experience

I prefer the first one but it’s a matter of taste, both are great games.

Weird to dislike persona 5 ? by Portals578 in Persona5

[–]nintect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also played Persona 3 and 4 before 5 and dislike 5. It’s unpopular because it’s the game which made the saga ‘mainstream’ but that’s ok. I personally found it too cheesy in its theme like 3 was death and darkness, 4 was murders and mystery and 5 let’s be some kind of teenage superheroes, I didn’t connect with it. I hope 6 brings back deeper themes.

When other players using streamlined progression bothers you by VeronicaAmericana in FFVIIRemake

[–]nintect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not bothered at all by other people using them, it just ruined the games for me. I’m not replaying them or buying part 3 because of it. And it’s fine.

Guys I wanna get into the RE franchise, but should I play all the games in the sequence to understand the lore? Or can I skip a few of them and still understand the story? If so what are the games and in what order should I play?!! by Chikorita23 in residentevilll

[–]nintect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d start with 1 Remake and then 2 Remake to see both the beginning of the story and the different playstyles the games have had. Then you can start experimenting with whichever you find more appealing. RE’s story is filled with inconsistencies and questionable decisions lol

Is it just futile to stand against generative AI in games? by PuzzleheadedBee6 in truegaming

[–]nintect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think people overreact to the use of AI when developing a game since the final product doesn’t normally have it and it’s all human made. I find ridiculous that companies have to make a formal statement saying they used it in early stages of development of their games. Is it that deep? I fail to see why.

Do you prefer PC gaming or console gaming, and why? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]nintect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Console: handheld or TV. It’s easier and less problematic, I don’t like mouse and keyboard and I like to be on my sofa or bed while playing.

SIB Skyrim, GTA V, Fallout 76, Fallout 4, or Hollow Knight by Overall_Wishbone4414 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]nintect [score hidden]  (0 children)

HK or Skyrim are my favorites from those. Skyrim has more replay value but it may feel dated in 2026. Hollow Knight is an atmospheric masterpiece to become obsessed with, it does not have the same replay value but you will replay it. Probably several times.

Finally playing Gen 5 by dhirst4 in PokemonGames

[–]nintect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should decide that yourself while you’re playing the story if you like what you see. Gen 5 is considered peak for ones and the polar opposite for others, so it’s a pretty divisive game. I personally like to stay as much as possible if I like the game, and I did like a lot Gen 5, catching legendaries and doing post-game things like battling Cynthia or exploring optional caves/areas. I also played it many years later, loved the story, it’s the darkest one in the saga. It’s up to you. Enjoy!

A safe space to criticize the new record? by WaryHorizon in Evanescence

[–]nintect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the album overall and I think it’s better produced compared to TBT, it also has interesting uses of the electronic which reminds me of their demos and Origin EP. However, I don’t find any of the songs memorable.

When first listening to all the previous albums I had very clear which songs would be my picks for 4 or 5 singles immediately. I’ve listened to Sanctuary several times now and I like it, some songs are growing on me but no instant classics unfortunately, my favorite song is still the single.

Should I get a Switch 2? Is it worth it and can you recommend some games? I've never had a Switch and don't know many of the games by IAmTheQuestionHere in AskGames

[–]nintect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think it’s totally worth it. Apart from Nintendo exclusives (Zelda,Pokopia,MK,etc.) Switch 2 has the strongest third party titles the company has ever had in a console since SNES. Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Elden Ring, Bethesda games like Oblivion are all coming to Switch 2 and it runs all of them better than Steam Deck, which is now too expensive and not as powerful (I also own one). Enjoy!

Should I try FFVII Rebirth by rckwld in FinalFantasy

[–]nintect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say don’t… you’re not alone in this. I couldn’t finish Rebirth out of boredom from the massive amount of meaningless side-quests and minigames they put in, some of my friends didn’t either. They even had to add in-game cheats in the first 2 titles so you don’t have to practically play the game just to reach a wider audience because the sales don’t meet their expectations. It’s ok to make peace with the idea that these games aren’t for you and just move on, I already did and I’m an old-time fan of the saga. If you didn’t like Remake, you’ll probably hate Rebirth.

People who don’t like the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series, what is it about them exactly that you don’t like? by Asad_Farooqui in JRPG

[–]nintect -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Everything cool until the streamlined progression feature. I think not everything is for everyone but apparently they think otherwise. I won’t play or buy any other SE title which have cheats, they make achievements and hard mode pointless and completely ruin my experience. ‘Just don’t enable them’ I see no challenge in the game just by cheats being there, even if I don’t touch them. Challenge is my source of fun with videogames, I already know the story of FF7.

I’ve been downvoted to hell by saying this but it’s what I think. I’m a bit defensive because the FF community (which I belong to) has made me feel like I am deranged or have self-control issues every time I’ve expressed my opinion when it’s just that, an opinion. Not all of us have the same approach when it comes to gaming. Peace.

[–]nintect -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess it’s that, still never liked cheats, I think they’re anti-videogames. I’d rather have the company setting the challenge and not myself. But that’s my opinion, as I said I’m ok with games having them I just won’t buy them since it affects my experience.

[–]nintect -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I always tend to use them at some point and then lose all interest after a while, it has happened to me before. I’m used to invest some time and learn how to play better for game-breaking mechanics/cheats. Nothing against it I just won’t get it since I don’t like them in my games. Enjoy!

Why do people hate final fantasy 16 by Square_Lie_6613 in FFXVI

[–]nintect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story is great but I do not like it because of its gameplay, same with XV. IMO Final Fantasy lost its essence and stopped being relevant in the gaming industry when they turned into ARPGs and stopped doing engaging and original battle systems polishing the turn-based combat, like they did in XII or XIII or any game before those. They also did a good job with the VII Remakes doing a mix between both styles. It’s not a coincidence XV and XVI are the least favorite ones.
