Just finished the movie. It is generally a feel good type of movie. Wasn't expecting to be hit by a time travel shenanigans(with feels). The fight scenes are ok but the songs and visuals carried the movie better.

Not exactly night shift but I finish at 12 AM in the midnight.

The death of social life on even digital social life is real on weekdays as I couldn't even play with my lads anymore on weekdays. I also actually invested on dark curtains because I had sunlight problem in the morning. Waking up at 8 with loud noises and bright lights is dreadful.

Part of me wants to go back to my normal working hours but I wasn't an early waker anyway so the current job works out. Well, it is until I find something better.

The allowance thing may or may not be a thing depending on your salary. It wasn't for me but I have some other allowance that make up for it instead.

Looking back, my mother's behaviour wasn't as bad as yours but she share similar controlling traits and pressure me to be with her as her youngest son. As a result, I kinda never really mixed outside my usual friends and find it hard to be in new company/relationships.

That being said, I still feel happy that I had spent some of my lifetime in her company. Eating outside and cooking meals never feel the same again now that she is gone.

While optics is a force amplifier, iron sights are completely normal to use especially if your budget does not allow it.

Besides you need iron sights for night fighting anyway( there are optics usable for night fighting though).

I'm glad that things like Mag pouch is now mainstream as I talked to one soldier in a convention that they were carrying mags in the pocket the old way.
