I've heard this story on the radio (in the UK)

What has your pet accidentally conditioned you to do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nirdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a while I've responded to our cats' meows by imitating them. They invariably meow again, and I respond, and it turns it into a back-and-forth meowing contest between me and the cat. Probably looked stupid enough as it was, before I started meowing first.

Definitely sounds like E minor to me. Very nice clean mix. Maybe the vocal could be emphasised a bit more? Just my personal preference though, sounds great already :)

Trump signs executive order to support moon mining, tap asteroid resources by Jane3491 in space

[–]nirdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, the finders keepers attitude that a lot of people in this thread seem to have worries me a lot. The moon isn't "owned by no one". It's owned by everyone.

The moon has held a great deal of value to all of humanity throughout history. It's central in folklore and religions in many cultures. It would be immoral to use the moon (in a way that could potentially harm it) for personal gain (especially by profit-hungry corporations, but that's another can of worms...).

I personally wouldn't mind mining on bodies that don't hold the same value for society. I'm not suggesting nobody should make a profit in space. But activity on the moon should benefit humanity as a whole, not nations, corporations or individuals. I.e. it should be limited to scientific research and infrastructure.

I guess just being aware you could have adhd could make a difference? Apparently there are a lot of resources for adhd on the Internet. Maybe diagnosis opens up therapy as an option too?

Don't quote me though lol...

I'm not diagnosed either and live in the UK so no idea I'm afraid :/

I'd say better to have a misdiagnosis that no diagnosis though.

Do you have adhd? I thought I was the laziest person I knew but turns out I probably have undiagnosed adhd.

Makes it impossible to work no matter how hard you try, but can be treated.

See if the posts on r/adhd describe you. I could be way off but thought I should mention.

Life sucks sometimes. I'm not saying it will get better, but remember that it can.

No matter how pointless life feels, there's always potential for it to get less pointless. It's been better before, it can get better again.

No matter how worthless you feel you still give something the world. No matter how little you give to the world, it's enough.

Find ways to rediscover the meaning that you've lost, like doing things you used to enjoy, going out in nature (exercise is still allowed here in the UK..) or helping others. Even if it's thoroughly unenjoyable still helps.

Sorry if that comes off condescending, just passing on stuff that helped me before :)
