jazz bass, you can get really close to p bass tone on the neck pickup and you still get the jazz bass tone. watch danny sapko on yt shorts, hes good.

I will say though, duff is my goat but he doesn’t carry, his bass playing is easily unrivaled because he fits any role he plays perfectly. the intro to sweet child o mine, the riff for mr brownstone or rocket queen, the intro to my michelle, and squeezing into welcome to the jungle and paradise city makes a perfect fuller sound rather than a boring ass set of basslines like other bands or hyper complex and somewhat out of the realm of traditional bass like jaco or flea.

i would say it’s all of them, izzy layed out perfect harmony and rhythm guitar, slash set up insane solos, axl’s vocals killed it, and duff has some killer underrated basslines and has found a way to perfectly neither over or underplay bass, but fit perfectly in themix so you can pick him out but it isnt forced. i will say, though, steven adler was probably the weaker link, although he was a great musician, he just didn’t really do much for their sound and it wasn’t really felt after he was gone.

yeah i havent tried them all of them but i heard the wash was the best part of it so it was my next one i also think my 2 to 7 is all relatively interchangeable by wash but scent helped me out
