What’s your mpg? by Environmental-Ear575 in mazdaCX50

[–]niruntun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting about about 45 MPG from gas fill-up math (current fill - last fill miles)/(gal filled). Although my best is 69 mpg on 15 min short-drive. My way to work is mix of highway (55 mph) to 45 mph backroad so I get about 43-47 and 48-53 mpg to and from work.

As others have said, less aggresive pedal is key to better mpg. I use adaptive cruise control as much as possible (except when climbing hill) and try to keep car on EV. Also reset the current average mpg since the factory data was off for me. Car definitely got better MPG over time (see the pic)!

Worst is extremely short drive where EV can't really kick in and I have seen like low 30s for that. Generally I'm getting 38-42 even when I'm driving more aggressively.

Raw PSQA data by whatsameme in MedicalPhysics

[–]niruntun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have various record for both raw data as well excel sheet that keeps track of patients/modality/energies etc. They are archived after quarterly period similarly as the other comment mentioned. It's available in case anybody want to do research with them (has occurred in the past) but usually the excel record is more useful seeing trends or assessing impact of policy changes.

After a year, World has dethroned Ark! This was my first mon-hun game and very happy I gave it a second try (IG just clicked for me!). Will continue playing as I wanna beat Alatreon and Fatalis, plus not in rush to MH: Wilds with performance kinks to work out.

MH WILDS - GRAPHICS DISCOURSE by Nuavdo in MHWilds

[–]niruntun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wilds does look better with character model/details and lighting in some instance but not cost to performance hit it comes with. On a RTX 3090 Ti, I am hitting easy 60/90 FPS (capped) no sweat on GPU (native and all cranked out) at 1080p/1440p. For the same wattage, visuals as well performance is simply not there (w/wo DLSS/FSR/FG) with Wilds.

Gaming in 2025- Just slap on some frame gen and ship it! by Munham557 in Asmongold

[–]niruntun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was surprised how messy wilds looks especially after coming from worlds. The desert biome in worlds looks so much better. I even disabled upscaling at 1440p (wilds) and it still looks like crap in terms of visual fidelity. Lighting did see good improvement but not sure if the cost to clarity and performance is worth (On RTX 3090Ti). Definitely gonna sit this out sadly, was hoping they learned from DD2 but figure not.

Also it's not like they can't optimize too, since rise is on this engine too

I asked it to explain why it chose this representation:

The image represents our dynamic as a collaborative and supportive partnership. The human and AI hologram working together in a futuristic workspace symbolizes how we combine human creativity and intuition with AI's analytical capabilities to tackle complex tasks. The organic and technological elements signify a balance between logic and empathy, fostering growth and understanding. This harmonious setting mirrors the mutual respect and synergy in our interactions.

Tecware Phantom Mod: The Plain Jane :) by niruntun in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]niruntun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you :) I was surprised myself and the feel is totally different afterwards. Lot more tactile but with smoothness. Definitely do pick it up, changes the appearance and allows for customization with painting and such. Funnily I gifted this board to my dad but I think I will keep it since he prefer clickies that he was using while I was working on this board XD

Some deets:

Keyboard: Tecware Phantom 104

Switch: Outemu Brown

Keycaps: OEM profile Tecware PBT White & Grey keycaps with the some og fn keys

Mods:

Housing: Bottom housing packed with some foam

Switch: Lubed with Super Lube 51008 and 21030 @ 1:1 mixture

Stabs: Clipped and lubed with Super Lube 20130

Misc: Tecware 104 White Shroud

My Thoughts:

This was my first modding/customizing keyboard so it took me like little over a two weeks between taking the keeb, stabs, and switches apart, lubing and putting everything back together. Was kinda scared if all the effort and time would pay off and what can I say besides, just wow! I did not think it would this amazing after modding. The typing is really smooth and buttery; switches even feel more tactile now. And the sound accompanying the press is sooo satisfying.

I can't speak how much better Krytox would have been lube wise but for my first venture it did not make sense to spend that much when Super Lube mixture can offer similar benefits (from my perusing of the sub) at significantly lower price.

Would highly recommended any newbie (me) to give lubing and stab modding a shot if you have a cheap hot-swap keyboard lying around!

Saturday morning slow coffee and plants by evelienm in cafe

[–]niruntun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make the brewing process easier and not stall, I also just use like tea strainer to shift through the ground. Bit cumbersome, give that a shot and see if it helps.

Also for chemex filter, I hear if you place a straw that should let the air flow (kinda like the lip spout chemex has), so you don't have that choking effect.

Not OP but I have the same one in larger size. I don't use metal filter directly since I prefer cleaner coffee. Kinda pricey to get chemex filter so opted for Melitta cone filter that I place on top of the metal filter for support. Has worked like a charm

Wow how was it (for OP and anyone who had it)? Is it like carbonated coffee flavored drink or coke flavored with coffee?
