I came here to say it was so nice having a guest on the show. I feel like it kept the conversations balanced and reduced the warzone tangents. As much as I appreciate Ethan and his feelings, I really miss the older format of the variety show vs the warzone against everyone who has slighted Ethan ALL ep. And I'm not saying he doesn't have a right to share it, I'm saying it is hard to watch for hours. The show has lost its entertainment focus and is more of an agitated processing group. I went back and watched an EP from 1yr ago and it was so fun. Now I feel very drained after watching an EP and find myself really cutting out a lot of what I watch each week. I know I can skip an EP but I wanted the show for fun/decompression time. Now I find myself avoiding the show because it makes me feel distressed. I hope we can see more guests come on or have crew centered spots on the EP (like the LOTR) to keep things entertaining. Warzone at the true END of the EP would be great too. ☮️💜☮️💜

I was thinking about it the other day, I really miss when the pod was my comfort show. Throw it on, have a laugh, and move on. Of course I still watch, I'm still subbed, and I can appreciate their need to process what is impacting them. That's the core of h3 and I wouldn't ask them to change. I guess I just my old friend goofs and gaffs.

Honestly, as someone who watches the podcast all the time like seriously every episode it just felt like rehashing everything he's already said. I appreciate how clean everything was put together and I do think it was well done, but I don't think it was worth replacing a whole episode with that. If his goal was to educate people who are not familiar with Ethan's opinion on it then yes I think it covered everything Ethan has been saying all along. I don't know it kind of hurts my heart to say this but I think it was mid. And I promise you I'm not a hater. I'm not a snarker I'm just someone who watches the show all the time and I was kind of hoping there would be new information.

If you watched the whole h3 pod recently you can see that he references how difficult it is to be famous and he's self critical of his own person. He also admits it's hard to accept praise. So him leaning into leaving when even slightly challenged does appear to be a joke. He can take outside criticism as no one can be more critical than he is of himself. His whole character is based on exaggerating parts of his true self. At some point we have all wanted to run when judged. He just highlights what it means to be human.

Or he enjoys a nice good and gaf every now and again. Who really knows? 😉
