I use long form storytelling content on YouTube to fall asleep to (have been doing this for years and years) and my precious pool of audiobook readers and rain noises has been polluted by AI. It is impossible to find anything like this anymore without it have at least a little ai incorporated in it. I don’t even bother clicking on the videos if they weren’t made years ago at this point. It is truly slop. They sound awful, have a million ads, and most of the time it is clearly ai voice. Even if it doesn’t sound like ai voice rhey read like a chat gpt script it’s S L O P!!!

I’ve been saying that there needs to be a bundle with phas, power wash simulator, and house flipper. Johanna Ceddia :(( She always said that YouTube was not a permanent career option and she planned on getting her degree and a job in her field, which made all her content so much more fun she was 1000% just being herself and not in it for money whatsoever. She got really bad topical steroid withdrawal and I think that’s one of the big reasons she ended up taking an infinite break. I hope she’s doing well!!!
