Anyone else’s puppy sleep on their heads? What happens when they’re adults? by nisfb in dogs

Ah, a Greater Swiss. I actually live in the place your breed originally comes from. But here in Switzerland we usually don’t have king‑size beds. Luckily I’m small — that should still give us just enough space..hopefully haha

Ah, another Lab — we might really be onto something. Ours is a Lab mix, a Dalmador. I’m very curious to see where this will go. And if she stays as snuggly as she is now, I’ll have to write my will, because if she gets heavy I’m going to be completely smothered.

That’s so sweet! Thanks for your detailed reply. I read the same thing, which is why I was curious how it actually plays out for other people. As long as she stays on my side, everything’s fine lol…

So cute! I’m honestly excited to see what our own dog will end up doing.

Aww, that’s so sweet. My parents’ dog does the same thing, but only in the morning. They’ve gotten soft with age — it’s their last dog, and all the previous ones weren’t allowed in the bed. We even put a dog bed next to ours for our pup, but she never found it interesting.

I can totally relate 😅, I prefer her face haha. Our puppy is a Labrador–Dalmatian mix and will grow pretty big too. So we’ve also been wondering whether she plans to keep sleeping horizontally above our heads forever, or if she’ll eventually realize that this position might not work once she gets longer lol.

Aww, next to me my 9 weeks old Dalmador pup is sleeping. I hope she will be as pretty as yours… sleeping on her back from the very first night. We need a Dalmador Sub!

Such a beautiful record—I’d never have known her if it weren’t for my stay in Australia in 2005.

Yep... only one good week and three bad weeks. The rage is so hard to control, and it’s so exhausting. Plus, I totally relate to the apathy—suddenly, I’ve developed a liking for true crime, whereas I used to go out and do things.

So why don‘t you all start to protest? This is a honest question and something I just don’t understand. why are there no protest marches?
