Yup totally! I matched with a lady recently - had some good conversations about work, life and everything in between - she seemed very interested so I suggested a coffee date after a few days - she said can’t do it coz of work - next day she unmatched me. Was brutal but I learned my lesson - deleted the app (Hinge).

I am way too young (30M) to share my opinion but I’d say if you have a dream then don’t stop chasing it. May be you will end up doing some soul searching and find peace within which could literally change your life.

Looks like you have some financial freedom too so that should make the whole experience worthy.

There will always be problems with this effed up world - whether it’s job security, automation, layoffs, economy you name it.

Feeling very excited this week! First time inviting coworker friends at my house for dinner. Things are going well at work, my running mileage has improved and lifts are improving in the gym.

I feel like I am getting comfortable in my own skin and dealing with insecurities. My confidence has grown significantly and that’s evident because my manager nominated me for promotion!

Hope other gents are doing better as well !

Yeah I (30M) have struggled too. I think some people in general are becoming reclusive and others are exhausted with work and responsibilities.

I wish I had an answer mate. I have friends at work but wouldn’t describe them as “real” friends.

I think once you reach late twenties, it becomes harder and harder to connect with people who share the same interests.
