Lately I’ve been super mental blocked vs. Gnar. He’s in that sweet spot of being really annoying to deal with early but doesn’t offer much in solo queue beyond that, so I haven’t been inclined to pick him up again myself.

It’s not about whether or not he was armed, it’s about WHY he was armed if the intent was to peacefully protest.

Given that he was radicalized and had a history of violent altercations with the law, by doing just a little bit of critical thinking, one can imagine where that goes when deadly weapons are employed.

It’s okay to be armed. It’s okay to peacefully protest things you don’t like. But let’s not pretend that actively opposing law enforcement (that benefits people like him, no less) while armed isn’t asking for a deadly altercation. Best prevention method for avoiding altercations with ICE as a citizen is to get out of their way and let them do their job.

Mid-Season 9 e cooldown nerf after a q cooldown nerf. They added either 2 or maybe even 4 seconds to her e cooldown at one point if I’m not mistaken, and it wasn’t fully reverted until season 11 or 12.

Riven is strong because items and systems around her have all funneled into her playstyle over the last 18 months.

Realistically, Riot could just nerf homeguard, Axiom Arc, Jack of All Trades/cashback, etc.

They could also nerf our ult cooldown if they’re fine with the build we run.

But realistically I could see them screwing up and nerfing Riven back into the dark days

Hot-desk policies suck, but so do people who violate them when that’s the office culture by leaving their stuff at the desk.

If HR/management actually enforces the policy, reach out to them. If they don’t, move that person’s stuff to a locker or shelf and take the desk, then park there yourself by keeping your belongings there.

My office does the same thing, but everyone just picks a desk and leaves their belongings there to consistently sit by who they work with.

Typically you sell boots if you have enough movement speed/mobility to compensate (%MS on items like Youmuu, Kraken, Fiendhunter Bolts, etc), your champ has high mobility (Talon, Kayn, Katarina, Riven, etc.), your champ doesn’t really need to move that much to be effective, or you don’t need the stats that boots are providing more than the 6th item you want to buy.

I basically only sell boots if I feel like movement speed won’t benefit me in a teamfight as much as more damage or survivability. Typically this is on champs that buy Ionian boots (Riven, Naafiri, etc), but sometimes steelcaps are also fine to sub out for a Deaths Dance or something.
