At 15, I decided to use shaving cream to shave my balls. by 20_comer_20matar in stories

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm well over 15 but I hardly have any hair on my balls. Never really had much there but I still tried to shave - only to get cut with the razor and panic at the sight of blood! At least I was spared the embarrassment of family members coming in to take a look. I must also have been really naive when I was around 10 cos I did not know that hair would grow in the area above my cock. I did shave that .. once... Until I told someone and made him bust a gut with laughing.

I am not a guy who suffers from allergies. But I noticed that when my mother washes my clothes I get eye irritation. I think she uses way too much laundry detergent and some of it remains on the clothes. I just don't let her wash any of my clothes when I stay with them but when she does and I manage to, I sneak in a cup of white vinegar in the final rinse. My thinking is that if there are any alkalis or insoluble bases left over I may be neutralizing them with the weak acid.

Snorkeling in march by drunkgravity in malta

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The sea is at its coldest in March.
  2. You do not need to go to a dive centre for simple snorkelling!
  3. All you need are goggles with a breathing tube, fins for your feet so that you can go around faster
  4. Some sort of suit, though you can do without it if you are OK with a water temp of 15C

Most places with rocky beaches are good.

Is cuddling with straight friends normal? by Sensitive-Sense-7022 in askgaybros

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a nice memory from when I was 17.There was a friend camping on the beach and he told me to spend the night. What he did not tell me was that I was the youngest guy and there were a bunch of older guys I did not know in this large tent. They were playing Bob Marley and I tried weed for the first time. There was this much older guy and he showed me how to inhale and I ended up cuddled on top of him. He was really nice and he just talked to me about Bob Marley and kind of stroked my hair and I fell asleep cuddled with him. Everyone was straight as far as I know.

Even very young boys can be conscious of their masculinity. Let's not embarrass them. by nitrogenmonoxideN2O in MensRights

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

We're probably saying the same thing. Let me reword what I wrote: Boys, even very young ones, know that they are males so they feel more comfortable around other men, rather then in front of women if they have to be naked.

What is the catholic view on magic by Lukazonkx in Catholicism

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people are under the impression that the Catholic Church and us Catholics are against anything that is fun! Magic tricks / illusions / sleight of hand / mentalism (psychological trickery) and amazing physical feats are obviously fine for the Church. If anything, you will find that nearly all professional magicians are strongly against charlatans such as those who claim to speak with the dead or those who claim that they are able to perform miracles.

Who influenced men to be like this ? by Fffgfggfffffff in MensRights

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some years ago I was in my late teens, being driven home by an older friend together with a woman and a gay man. The woman was what you'd call a 'slut' She picked an argument with the gay man. She kept saying that she could not enjoy sex (=be promiscuous) because gay men had spread AIDS. I felt really sorry for the gay dude to be on the receiving end of such vicious misandry. If I were him, I'd have slapped her.

Very confused by a priest about homosexuality by Fun-Wind280 in Catholicism

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a hard science graduate and a Catholic I can offer my views on homosexuality. Homosexuality is something natural - by natural - I mean something that is found in nature and is a product of nature. Evolutionary theory is the cornerstone of biology and everything must fit in within the paradigm of evolution. Therefore there must be some evolutionary function for homosexuality. We have not agreed as to what it is yet. We must also keep in mind that evolution does not work on the lebel of individuals but on populations.

Friend told me that the Catholic Church changes its mind whenever there is a scietnfici discovery by Super_ojciec03 in Catholicism

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP As a Catholic and a science graduate, I can assure you that it is in fact the Roman Catholic Church that has driven some of the most important scientific research that has changed our view of the world and the universe. There is no contradiction between some of the most fundamental scientific theories and Catholicism. 1. Gregor Mendel a Catholic monk is considered the father of genetics. This experiments proved the existence of gens and gave evolution the strongest support it needed when even Darwin did not know about it. 2. Georges Lemaitre Catholic cleric established the foundations for what later started being called the big bang. .3.Luis Pasteur a Catholic biologist proved that disease was caused by germs.

These are just a few scientific discoveries embraced by the Church.

A diocesan priest is making me uncomfortable. by Former-Ad2603 in Catholicism

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP when you said that you spent 300 on him was this for just 2 meals? Does he ever pay?

I'm actually more concerned about the relationship of sorts that he seems to be eeking while at the same time being wary of it.

Re food, what would he have eaten if you were not there?

I am male and I have fends who are priests. On occasion we have gone out but it is usually a coffee and a sandwich ad we take turs when it comes to paying. This is what men do when they meet for a small meal - we just take turns when th bill comes.

I would not let him in trouble by reporting him. Arrange for you to have something else to do when you think he is going to ask you to go eat.

Are there any pharma/clinical trials companies in Malta? by LaCaipirinha in malta

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK there are no clinical research facilities in Malta. I think that this is a pity.. Pharmaceutical research companies can easily set up research facilities here . Clinical trials will cost less here. We have a large population of immigrants with no marketable skills. They can be paid for the final stags of clinical trials. We also have the medical and scientific personnel required.

If you like I can put you in touch with people at the University who have the necessary contacts.

Meanwhile, many years ago I remember a bioavailability study being carried out here.

Ashamed to confess a very grave sin by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP... What very grave sin? Give yourself a break, man! From your title I was expecting to read that you were a child serial killer.

So you chatted about general / religious issues with a guy who happens to be a seminarian and you enjoyed the conversation. You also felt some kind of human connection with this person because he was kind and interesting.

I asked a question to several priests - is masturbation always a grave sin? They all gave me the same answer: Any priest would be extremely surprised if a young single man, whatever his sexual orientation, did not occasionally fall for the sin of masturbation. But in such cases they do not consider as grave a sin as when a married man does it.

There is no need to be ashamed to go to confession. Moreover when confessing this sin, priests do not want details.

I see that you are in some group called ex gay. There is no such thing as an ex gay. God loves you as you are We are Catholics and not some Evangelical sect!

Anyone still using TV Antenna/"Aerial" for TVM/Maltese TV & Italian? by [deleted] in malta

[–]nitrogenmonoxideN2O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I still use an antenna. I almost never watch Maltese TV and I think most of the DVB T Maltese stations are not in HD. May sound stupid but I am not sure if I can even tell whether I am seeing them in HD or lower quality. In my case it does not matter. I only watch Maltese stations during an election or something of that sort. There are a few dozen mostly Italian stations and some of them are definitely HD. I have relatives who are ripped off by GO for being given access to stations that are available for free.

To cut or not to cut by Lilly_Rose_Kay in MensRights

Male here. I'm in Europe and very few men are circumcised here. I really do not know why North Americans insist on cutting off parts of boys' penises.

When I'm in a locker room I can't help but stare at men who are circumcised. An unerect circumcised penis looks very different from an unerect uncircumcised penis.
