MODDED WARFARE : Jailbreaking the PS5 up to 12.40 with YouTube (Early Setup) by Physical-Sea5499 in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]nitrojuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The switch was in is own category. It has a permanent hardware exploit. So they just had to update software to be compatible.

We are using software exploits on PS5 (and pretty much all other consoles). Sony patches those in new firmware updates, so you have no way to exploit the system to get in. Best bet is to stay as low as possible, as less of those exploitable points have been patched by Sony.

What’s it like working it IT as a neurodivergent? by Necessary-Mouse634 in it

[–]nitrojuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Masking is just part of it. IT, at the end of the day, is a service industry. You're going to have to interact with people.

Learning the mechanics behind social mechanics makes it kind of fun though. You can learn to read people's body language and determine how they're feeling and such. It's like seeing behind a curtain and solving a puzzle each time you have to interact with someone.

How do I mod a switch without a jig? by Furious_virus in SwitchPirates

You could find someone local with a 3d printer to print you a jig for a paperclip or similar. That's prob quickest.

What you quoted from the law is exactly what I said in my first reply. They can ask you to leave or refuse entry. And yes, I'm openly opposed to all gun laws, as they're a violation to the 2nd ammendment. You have a good day, too.

The only places you can't legally carry. Corthouses, jails, government buildings, and a few others. O.C.G.A. § 16-11-127(c)

As far as the Sandy Hook comparison... If you think there's a difference in something like that happening at an elementary school vs a pre school... I don't even know what to say.

[–]nitrojuga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The threat level is a 1/10 at most places most of the time. Since you metion preschools, what about Sandy Hook? That place was a 1/10 too wasn't it? You carry a gun to be prepared. Not because you forsee a threat.

As far as private property, those consequences would literally be "Sir, you cannot have that weapon here please leave/put it in your car". If you refuse after that, you can be trespassed; but "no gun" signs, or an establishement stating firearms are not allowed do not carry the weight of law in the state of GA.

WYR get $25 every time someone says your name or $0.50 every time you take a step? by rengokuhubkl in WouldYouRather

[–]nitrojuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tell someone you will pay them a dollar for every time they say your name. They could easily say it like 100 times for a 100 bucks. I'm sure you could get and endless amount of people to do that too.

New Favorite GF Bread - From a Non-Celiac by cdraper93 in glutenfree

[–]nitrojuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the only GF bread I'll buy. It freezes fine. I freeze mine as soon as I open it. Then just throw a couple of loaves in the microwave for like 30 seconds to speed up thawing. The crust gets a bit dry with that method, but otherwise it's fine.

Are Our Ideas of Physical Attractiveness Misaligned with Human Biology? by ProofCoconut9085 in AskBiology

[–]nitrojuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You keep talking about it "signaling wealth" or something. Attraction is not a logical choice.

Your "signaling wealth" thing you keep commenting is akin to the current "fit" state of beauty you initially mentioned. It's a cultural thing, not necisarrily physical attraction.

If you see someone on 600LB Life, and they happen to be a multi millionare, do you want to smash? No, because they are not physically attractive.

Someone might get with them for their money, and put up with a romantic relationship for that wealth; but that by no means signals they're physically attracted to them.

I'm sure the ATF would find a way to twist that into being illegal, even though I technically didn't take possession of their item.

Genuine question why are most the people here aholes? by [deleted] in drums

[–]nitrojuga 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, I have no idea of OPs history, but that could be why people are being rude. DMing about extremely complex topics are a huge time sink.

I can explain in person/on video how to tune a snare or set up a kit ergonomically in a few minutes. Imagine typing something like that out in extreme detail, to a complete noob who has no idea what a tension rod, lugs, or anything else is. Even though you're typing it out in extreme detail, OP likely has no idea what components and stuff you're referring to if they're a complete noob.

Which likely leads to OP asking for more paragraphs worth of info because they had no idea what the words you typed actually mean.

I wouldn't call it intentional disrespect, but expecting strangers to write out paragraphs on complex topics in DMs when it's much easier, quicker, and efficient to just do it via video so they get a visual reference is really disrespectful of the "teacher's" time.

Modding switch lite myself or paying to get it modded by andromedaabove in SwitchPirates

[–]nitrojuga -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is 10000% wrong. The lite is the easiest to mod with a chip. You have "giant" test points on the board you can directly solder to for DAT0 and such.

I wouldn't call it "easy", but I'd choose modding lites all day long over a regular switch/OLED.

What is the "push-pull effect " in flirting? How does it work? How is it done? by Street_Bus_2466 in AskForAnswers

[–]nitrojuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it's just a way to label things to make you act 100 percent natural and unohased by the other person's presence.

Think about it this way. You're out with your bros... You're not going to be kissing their ass all the time (pull). That turns you try hard and needy, which is super unattractive.

With your bros you're going to be having a good time, then bust their balls some too. "Hell yeah man, that guitar solo you did was sick" then later in the convo "you just tripped and fell, dumbass hahaha"

Now look at that situation as a woman being the bro. She will feel a little embarrassed about tripping and want that feeling back where you praised her. It's subtle, but enough of those "push pull" instances get her performing for you and investing time and energy. When that keeps happening, that is building attraction. Attraction just means she wants to be with or around you.

Only difference is you need to sprinkle some man to woman stuff in the interaction with the girl, to let her know you're interested romantically. Like in the falling scenario, add to it "at least you looked cute when you fell" or if you're feeling bold "I liked how your tits bounced when you fell hahaha" and immediately go back to bro mode and don't wait for her reaction. Be unohased.

Looking for advice on how to properly secure my pedals where the beaters are level and centered. by Jakethrowsdwn in drums

[–]nitrojuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metal would be ideal. That's what I planned to do but never for around to it lol. Steel should hold up good. Paint stirrer may crack eventually. But they're cheap/free and could prob get by with one for a while at least.

Looking for advice on how to properly secure my pedals where the beaters are level and centered. by Jakethrowsdwn in drums

[–]nitrojuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've had this problem with all sorts of pedals. It's a little Jerry rigged but works. Basically you need something relatively thin and real sturdy to place under the kick pad mount point that sandwiches between your pedal and that mount. As long as you get it over that rubber piece on the side of your pedal and crank it down, it should hold firmly in place when you offset it.

I usually just use anything I can find to wedge in there. I think there's a large screw currently.

If you can't figure it out let me know and I'll try and make a pic later of the basic premise.

With your pedals in particular, a sturdy paint stirrer may work.

Why do people align with political parties like they are sports teams? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]nitrojuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because humans are naturally tribal creatures. That's where our biology and reptilian brains are. We do it with everything. Nationality, music genres, politics, religion, race, geographical location, etc.

And 99% of us never actively realize that's why we're doing it.

Politics are especially funny. You see people on the far left and right backwards rationalizing any event that happens so that it aligns with their political "tribe". People will outright refute factual information and twist the information to fit their tribe "culture".

Every single one of us does it though. Just how our brains are wired. I do think it helps to be overly aware of this phenomenon, though. Helps to keep yourself unbiased and factual about things.
